Very charming riverside restaurant with rooms, in the tradition of guinguette - terrasse, music sometimes, the slow moving river, even moorings if you arrive by boat ..., Rooms are simple, clean, modern. The menu is centred on the wood fired grill - good meats and very generous portions; not much for a vegetarian though. Access is a little comic -... More

I don't really know where to begin. We booked what is described on the website as a Junior Suite with panoramic views. No, no, no..... The room (17) is indeed quite large but completely unusable as a 'suite'. Poor standard of cleanliness, poor standard of finish, poor choice of furnishings and colours (see attached pictures). Corridors are just awful. The... More

I have nothing but praise for the hotel and it's staff. Slightly unusual review - but we took in-laws (aged 89 and 90) to stay there for a 5 nights while we went off in our camper van.Having previously discussed they ages and lack of mobility they were given a lovely 'accessable' room on the ground floor, all on the... The room was fine, but nothing to write home about. The setting by the Seine was rather more special, particularly in the hour before (during our visit) a beautiful sunset. The food we had was superb. It was cooked on a wood-burning grill and the meat was done to perfection, with a range of sauces that made for a pleasingly... More

.........we enjoyed our stay. 3 night stay before return to UK and at an interesting hotel. Location between a railway line and the Siene, although there was no inconvenience with noise from the trains - in fact you could hardly hear them. Food above average for the hotel grade, service friendly but stretched at times, rooms are okay but could... More

We had two rooms for 3 nights in order to visit Giverney and Vernon. The basic rooms were clean but quite small and ours ( 9 and 10) had a small wooden verandah. All the rooms offer a view of the river. They were apparently refurbished in2011 and need a bit of a refresh but are pleasant with coffee/ tea... More

Our table was booked for 7:45 for nine people. We arrived (on time) but were kept waiting for and hour before our food order was taken. We were then "allowed" to order drinks because the manager taking the order insisted on taking our food order first. We waited again for our drinks order to be taken and the drinks arrived... More

Dear Guests, I'm very sorry you were disapointed by our restaurant. your comments is so far away from others, I can't understand what happened and have no memories of having guests as dispointed as you are. The restaurant was busy on that july 13 but nothing different as each sunny summer day. You even found your food "cold and greasy"...... More

Dear Sir, Thank you for you comments. If i'm happy with your opinion over my restauratn I'm quite sad with the hotel part. Esch rooms are different and some are smaller than others. Unfortunately, I don't have enough detail to identify in which room you stayed. Out of the 18 rooms 9 are larges, 4 medium and 5 small. I... More

A lovely hotel right by the River Seine. Very comfortable, excellent service, a good restaurant and easy safe parking. The hotel is located about 15 minutes easy drive to Giverny for the Monet Gardens. To access the hotel, you need to cross the railway track- a low tunnel at one end or a level crossing at the other.

The hotel is situated in a small piece of land between a main railway line ( surprisingly, not a noise issue) and the river with access either through a part time level crossing or a 1.8 metre high tunnel.
