We stayed here for 2 nights with Diamond Rail Holidays. Situated miles from anywhere and looking a little run down.Where we sat in the dining room the window had dropped leaving a large gap through which the wind blew, the woodwork was rotten, we were sat at long tables from where it was difficult to get out once seated, there... Water poured down the walls in my and other rooms. Ceiling came down full of water. Bar and lounge leaked. No staff on duty at night. Everything locked and no way to call help at night. Rooms without towels but complete with cockroaches. Frog in the puddle in the bar. Swimming pool dirty. Bar not even opened on our second... More

Stayed here for a couple of nights with MSL Tours and was well catered for. Good rooms, good food, staff were helpful even to arranging a coach to take us into town to watch Moto GP so we could have a beer (or six). It is remote but all the better for it.

Wow! I do not understand the negative reviews at all. Away from it all, beautiful location, indeed a few steps down from the hotel there is a lovely river we swam in! Great restaurant, accommodating bar (where the wif-fi is) and lovely rooms (no air con though). Lovely pool. The owner/chief was a delight, as were all the staff. Would... More

I had the unfortunate experience of spending two nights at this hotel. It is situated in a valley surrounded by hills and consequently gets limited sun exposure. The rooms downstairs were damp with black mould on ceilings and walls, this created a strong fusty smell which was unpleasant to breath. The hotel was located well away from any amenities and... Oh dear! As we descended the stairs into the bowels of the earth (below the level of the swimming pool and just above the river), the smell and damp air hit us! The stair rail was cold and damp, there was a very damp smell and the floor was black in places from the damp. Our room was an experience!... More

Two nights at this hotel as part of a tour. If you want peace and quiet away from civilisation and no frills then this hotel will be for you. It seems to be quite isolated - would be better in summer months, but quite chilly and damp in October. Our room was 2 floors down and the further down you... More

This hotel is 20 minutes drive out of Corte, it is completely isolated in wooded countryside. The rooms all seem to be different, some with refurbished bathrooms & all arranged at different levels. Our room overlooked the pool, with a second window looking out on woodland & the river. It got very warm & even using the fan left it uncomfortable... More

I really loved this hotel. This is a rustic delight that is so worth a stay if you want to relax and unwind. Its a great place to go walking from. The building isn't perfect but the staff are delightful and warm. The restaurant has great rustic food. It helps to know some French as few employee know English. Do... More

Stayed here for 1 night on my tour through the north of Corsica, about 20 minutes from Corte , this hotel is hidden away in a quiet area near the river. The rooms are really nice, staff is friendly and breakfast is delicious with fresh eggs and crepes baked on the spot. It's a family owned hotel with a limited... More
