We have just returned from another 2 week stay at the Funtana Marina. This is a lovely quiet family hotel where you always receive a warm welcome. The rooms are spacious clean and well equipped all with a fantastic view down to the town and sea! I would highly recommend this hotel for a relaxing holiday in lovely surroundings. My family will definitely be returning soon!

Hotel Funtana Marina from May 15 to 17 , 2017 ( 2nights, Room No. 75 ) Once you arrive with your car in downtown L’ILE Rousse, drive toward the Post Office and from there , you have excellent signage to direct you to “ Hotel Funtana Marina “…there is plenty of parking, and a willing young man to assist you with your bags. We received a friendly WELCOME and were accommodated in Room No. 75, a very clean room , a little small , with a balcony and a great view out to the Mediterranean Sea., including the town & port. The room has a Queen size bed with clean Bed linen and you will sleep well here. The room is furnished with contemporary furniture, in-room safe, enough closet space, flat TV screen by Continental Edison , a desk, a refrigerator. In the Bathroom you have clean bath-towels, sink, shower , WC, Hairdryer . The Hotel also has a very nice swimming pool. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast is plentiful and wholesome. You have a selection of Cereals, Coffee, Tea, cold cuts, selection of various cheese, three different juices, two cakes, yogurt, fresh fruit and different breads. We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Funtana and recommend highly staying here.…

Nice pool in front of hotel with good view over the small town of l'Ile Rousse. Small but comfortable bedroom. Helpful staff. Breakfast disappointing and not worth the €12 charge - we drove into town for fresh croissants and coffee in a bakery before setting out for the day.

Good hotel and friendly staff. And ocean view from the hotel is really nice and this hotels parking area is well organised. Only things where I see room for improvement is English level. Overall I can honestly recommend!

We stayed here mid-June 2015 and we really enjoyed our stay. Located in a quiet residential area of Ille Rousee, the hotel is accurately described on the web site. If you have a car there is more than enough parking. Our room was on the ground floor, although sliding doors open on to the pool we didn't notice the other guests. Although small the room was more than adequate (who goes on holiday to stay in a room?). The pool itself is a very good size with controlled access. This means small children have to be accompanied by adults. The bar was perfectly adequate for pre/post supper drinks and although the hotel does food we has all our meals (including breakfast) in the town. Located about 15 minutes from the town, in the evenings we walked into Ille Rousse. Being up hill the return walk taking a bit longer and if you are reasonably fit perfectly manageable ( when we stayed I was 63). I thoroughly recommend Hotel Funtana If you want a quiet hotel on the outskirts of town.…

Above L'ille Rousse with spectacular view over town and bay. The large pool also has the same view but don't expect to get a swim before breakfast as it's covered until 9.00am. The hotel is a good option for the town as it's in a quiet location but only a 3 minute drive down to an affordable car park near to the restaurants. It would be walkable but uphill on the way back. The hotel was functional but let itself down with small things like charging for pool towels and serving tinned fruit cocktail at breakfast instead of fresh fruit. The breakfast is extra and expensive at nearly 12 Euros. I spent 6 days there and it was OK but my least favourite of all the hotels I stayed in. That being said there was nothing really to complain about and represents reasonable value.

This family run hotel is friendly, clean and quiet. It boasts an amazing view onto Ile Rousse and a lovely pool where you can happily spend several hours whiling the time away. The rooms are a decent size for two, a bit of a squash for 3, with a child able to sleep on a mattress on the floor. The air conditioning was invaluable during the recent high temperatures and the night time feature meant that you could keep it going all night and still get a good night's sleep-Overall clean, each room has a balcony or direct access to the garden. We only had the quiet expensive breakfast (11 Euros) on the last day, but it was quite copious by French standards. The hotel is a good 15 minutes walk away from downtown and we usually drove down to the public parking at the foot of the hill and then strolled into town. The owners are friendly, knowledgeable and extremely helpful. We'll be sure to visit again next year.…

Still a good hotel. Very friendly hotel Owner managed. Ok the location could be better but does give a good view over the town of Ile Rousse. Its a 1km+ walk down into town and uphill on the way back. The rooms are adequately sized and each has a small balcony. Breakfast is extra and is the usual continental buffet with a good choice. There are limited snack available for evening meals. If you were staying for a week you may find the choice somewhat limiting. We have only ever stayed for three nights recently. The pool is good and its a peaceful location. Good place to stay when coming off the boat. Corsica is a big island so if you need to get to the south and only arrive late afternoon at Ile Rousse this is an excellent place to stay before moving on.

Hotel not so far from ile rousse, with good room and a beatiful pool. The breakfast is not included and quite expensive (10 €/person) and for this reason we did not try it. The room is quite small, but with a smal terrace.
