We stayed at Casa MarBella over Easter break last year and had a wonderful time. The place was packed - Easter week is high season. Owners Jim and Stephanie and their staff handled the crowd beautifully. They were busy - but we felt very well taken care of. We were staying there with our two teenagers - not always easy...

A place you wish you could keep to yourself! We went to Santa Teresa with the intention to stay at Casa Marbella the first few days and then look for something else once we got there. Our plan was to see the rest of Costa Rica as well but, we fell in love with the place! Jim and Stephanie were...

Me and my boyfriend stayed a few nights at Casa Marbella when we visited Costa Rica in July. This is without question the most beautiful and relaxing place to stay in Santa Teresa. The rooms are wonderful, clean and spacious. The pool area is very nice, and has a gorgeous view of the bay. Jim and Stephanie are very helpful,...

This is such a belated review, but I had to write it even if it is late since Casa Marbella was so wonderful. We stayed a few nights at Casa Marbella last fall on our honeymoon and it was an absolute paradise. There were only 2 other couples around while we were there (September) so it felt like we had...

Ideal combination of a boutique hotel and a backpacker beachtown. Being able to cook for yourself was also a welcome refreshment from the costa rican cuisine - especially when traveling with kids.  Great vacation.

Jim and Stephanie provided us with many suggestions on places to eat, shop, see, etc. The rooms are well kept and clean. The pool is gorgeous with breathtaking views...

My wife and family had a wonderful week at Casa Marbella. Highly recommend this hotel. The owners were amazingly nice and accomidating. Stephanie helped us plan our trip in and out from the Capital San Jose, and was of assistance from ordering pizza to arranging for a local babysister. The view was amazing and I have fallen in love with...

Actually, I'm writing this from our suite at Casa Marbella. It's such a wonderful place that my husband and two kids, 20 and 22, rarely want to leave. The pool is wonderful, the view incredible, the upkeep quietly efficient. Completely comfortable. I have spent much of my time on our private balcony in the hammock with a stunning view of...

Stayed here for one month during July and first part of August. The owners, Jim and Stephanie are wonderful hosts providing information, surf lessons, and making us feel like we were in our second home. Our daughter, 3 years old, wanted to stay even longer and she misses the owners daughter whom she played with each day. The hotel is...
