If you want a beach front B and B in Santa Teresa this is the hotel. The manager and staff are terrific. They will help you with any request. It is a very clean simple hotel directly in front of the best surf spot in Santa Teresa. You can spend the day lounging in the hammock watching the surfers, sunsets...

This was a family trip with our two teenage surfers. The reservation process with Don the manager was seamless and he was very helpful answering all questions. The hotel is at the quiet end of Santa Teresa, right in front of several quality surf peaks, away from the crowds. You are literally on the sand in front of the surf,...

My son and I came tor Costa Rica for a two week surf trip. Through a friends reccomendation we checked out Casa Cecelia. The only bad thing about it was we were "only" there for 5 days. Next time we are staying for the whole two weeks! As I said in the title, Don is "THE MAN"!! He is the...

The house was so cozy and the best deal ever, I fely like we were living in Paradise, we had monkeys in our trees and were steps from...

I was pleasantly surprised with my stay at Casa Cecilia and the service of the staff. You can pay more for a posh hotel on the beach but you will not get the personal service like you will at Casa Cecilia. I was tentative to stay by myself but Don made me feel like I was staying with friends and...

Awesome house and away from most of the "noise" of Santa Teresa. Stayed there with my girlfriend and brother. The host Don is a really cool guy and very friendly not to mention very knowledgeable of the area. We dug the free "Breaky" which included options like yogurt and organic granola with fresh fruit as well as a delicioso breakfast...

My wife and I stayed at Casa Cecilia for 10 days at the end of June. The hotel was recommended by a friend. I had been to the Mal Pais area about five times previously and stayed in numerous different hotels. I would recommend this hotel over anything in the same price range. There are fancier options in the area...

At the recommendation of a friend, we stayed at Hotel Casa Cecelia in Santa Teresa. Don and Moises were fantastic and kept us fed and organized and happy. The property was a little corner of paradise with friendly people, friendly hermit crabs, friendly local dogs, even friendly monkeys and there are no friendly monkeys. most importantly, with don and pia, i...
