Beautiful beach front hotel, with pool, spa and restaurant. The bungalows are spacious, clean and well kept. Beds are comfortable! If you ask my husband he miss not having a TV in the room. The property is beautiful with a perfect beach, hammocks and chairs are right on the beach for you to relax. They offer a "happy hour" from... More

Hotel tropico Latino has awesome staff with an amazing manager evellin who was more than helpful. They keep the grounds very clean and the restaurant has awesome food and is very professional with super friendly staff. We had a standard room that had more than enough room for five people to sleep in easily and a huge porch to relax... More

Santa Teresa is not as sleepy as it once was - finding tranquillity is not automatic. Hotel tropico Latino is wonderfully quiet, except for surf sounds. Pool is great for kids when waves are too big at the beach. Estaban, Jose Luis Rodigrigues (chef), and other crew at the restaurant go above and beyond. The meal they prepared from the... More

Gorgeous property. You feel like you're in the jungle. Nice room with outdoor sitting area including a hammock. Beautiful pool area. The beach is lovely although the waters were too rough while we were here. Our meals were feasts for the eyes and palate. We opted for a spa special and enjoyed lovely massages listening to the waves and followed... More

We love this hotel. The staff is amazing. They are warm and friendly and always available to help if needed. The rooms are air conditioned and have hot running water (most do not). The grounds are well kept and it is situated on the beach and in the rain forest. The restaurant opens early and overlooks the pool and beach.... More

The hotel was great as it was located directly on the beach. The rooms were nice, with AC and you were a minute away from the ocean. There is yoga on site overlooking the ocean. The beach itself is nice, but not amazing. If you are into surfing, it seems like an unreal spot to surf.

I loved how to lock the place you had to turn off the AC. Appreciate hotel owners who are conciences of saving electricity! We were... More

This was my second stay at Hotel Tropico Lationo and unfortunately it was only one night, but it was worth the effort to get there! I was in Costa Rica to tour more of the country - see something more than this beautiful beach - but stopped in Santa Teresa first. For the entire remainder of my trip, I wished... More

This was my third time to this paradise. Stayed for two nights in a nice bungalow with coffee maker and a hammock on the balcony. Very nice personal, especially Evelyn in the reception. It's right on the beach where there is a bar and a lot of hammocks. The restaurant could tempt with delicious food, even though a bit too... More
