I left Meli Melo this morning and already miss it so much, I could have stayed forever! I've travelled around Costa Rica and stayed in a few places but this was absolutely perfect for me, just across from the beautiful beach and close to everything you could ever need, it soon felt like home. Melanie and Fred were so lovely... More

This was our fourth stay at Hotel Meli Melo. We love it here and also love Santa Teresa. Probably our favorite place in Costa Rica. We had one of the rooms at the very back, and really enjoyed it. Great air conditioning, comfy bed, and always clean and beautiful. The gardens are beautiful and we love having the dogs and... More

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights while passing through Santa Teresa and were so happy to find this little gem. Incredibly friendly staff, clean rooms with daily maid service and directly across the street from the beach. Walking distance to markets and plenty of restaurants. Right in the middle of town ... Took about 15 min to... More

This is a perfect spot if you are going for a low maintenance surf trip or just want to relax and save some cash. The rooms are kept very clean and although it's off of the main road, the location still feels very private. The owners are very nice and are willing to accommodate special requests. Above average coffee if... More

This is the perfect place to stay in Santa Teresa. The hotel is clean, quiet, cool, and set back from the dust of the road. The owners are amiable and the cats and dogs are sweet and fun to have around. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance, beach is easily accessed. Less crowded section of town which was perfect for... More

This is the best place I have stayed in Santa Teresa period. The hotel is very very close to the beach and centrally located as far as groceries and restaurants are concerned. The rooms are clean and safe. The grounds are green and they use plants to give each room a little privacy. The AC works great and the showers... More
