Great hotel for the price we paid. We came during low season and paid an excelent rate. Hotel is clean, has a great view from the balcony of the ocean, air conditioning and hot water. The hotel is in an excelent location . I highly recomend this hotel for the price ,location, cleanness and European flair

If you want to go there get a room on the third floor because I got a room on the lowest floor in front of the pool and so I couldn't sleep because of the noise people did in the upper floors. It has a great location! The beds are a little uncomfortable. The pool has a good size!Go there if...

I just left Hotel Playa Carmen for a 7 night stay in Santa Teresa. I went to relax on the beach, do some great yoga in town at the other resorts and decompress. This is my second time to the Santa Teresa area, and if you have been, you know it's not an easy place to get too! It was...

All around bad experience here. Upon arrival, there was no one to be seen and we waited in reception for about 15 minutes for someone to help us. This was frustrating after a long day of travelling. When we got up to our room and settled in, the only thing we really enjoyed was the partial ocean view. As far...

We arrived in Feb 2015, and found that the registration did not have our name listed; we booked through Anywhere Costa Rica. It took 45 minutes for the front desk to check with the travel agency and to find a room for us. We appreciated the effort. After check-in we informed the front desk that our room did not have...

Hotel Playa Carmen was great! Very clean, and the staff was incredibly friendly. The location was fantastic and walking distance from a lot of awesome beaches. Local restaurants, shops, markets, and Internet cafes all near by. Will stay again!

Fantastic location, clean and trendy rooms. Great free coffee every morning in the lobby. Management, Culum & Roy always ready to help recommend where to eat at local restaurants and help organize departure transportation. 2 of the most helpful people we met on our travels around Costa Rica. Minutes from the beach, restaurants, bars and shopping. Really nice, private pool....
