The entire staff is full of amazing people. This resort gave me the best trip of my life and I don’t think I’ve been to a resort that is willing to serve better than them. Celebrating a friend's 50th birthday, we booked an entire villa at Hopkins Bay for a week of relaxation, excursions and fun. It could not have been more perfect! The staff at Hopkins Bay is top notch, and amazingly attentive. Everyone was very courteous and, as we have come to expect in Belize, very engaging and interested in us having our best experience. The villa amenities were better than I expected. We had a full kitchen, spacious seating areas and very large rooms. The view out the patio doors (which slide open completely) was of a gorgeous vista of pool and ocean. I'm pretty sure we spent more time on that patio than we did in the actual villa. On vacations, it typically takes me a day to get accustomed to the bed, but I slept like a baby right off the bat. From Hopkins Bay, it was quite easy to wander up the beach and into Hopkins proper, so that was an even better added bonus. If we didn't want to walk, the resort very graciously provided a van shuttle to wherever we might want to go at a moment's notice. That's not something every place I've stayed in the past has offered, and it was greatly appreciated. The restaurant, the Rhum Shack, was absolutely delicious and had quite the amazing happy hour. I'll address that more in it's own review, so be sure to check that out. We will definitely be visiting Hopkins again, and I'm positive we will be staying with Hopkins Bay again.…

The staff is absolutely amazing, shout-out Michelle for making a killer chocolate peanut butter milkshake!! Everyone working there was so kind and I had wonderful conversations with all of them. They took care of us as if we were apart of their family and made us feel so loved and welcomed.

Nice resort. Chavis, Michelle, King, and Baby Shaq rule! I came last year and they remembered my name and were excited to see me. Great service by the staff and extreme patience since we have such a large group. Every time I’ve said Goodmorning to a worker here (which is rare because they say it first usually) they are so happy and have the biggest smiles ever!

Hopkins Bay is the perfect getaway for families whether they are tourist or locals. I had the pleasure to experience this jewel March 5-6, 2023. We were greeted with a welcome sign that listed the names of the persons who booked a reservation for that day. Then we were informed we could enjoy the facilities while we waited for our room. The soothing ocean breeze blew all my worries away. It was so peaceful laying on the beach. The kids rushed off to enjoy the kid friendly pool. There is a section as low as 4ft. They also had kayaks and surf boards available for those who are more adventurous. The room was a short stroll away from the beach,pool and restaurant. It has a big deck area perfect for lounging or entertaining. We had booked joining rooms so my big family could be close while being comfortable. Even though I live in Belize I felt like I was in a different country while I was at Hopkins Bay. I will definitely recommend for my friends to go here.…

Beautiful relaxing place to enjoy a week or two, maybe a month or…. I’m comin back just not sure how long before I leave to go back home. The breeze from the ocean day or night is refreshing. I didn’t want to leave but I have to go to work to make sure I can come back 😂.
