TippleTree Beya is operated by Tricia. She welcomed us very warm and friendly. Our room was pretty nice. The two hammocks on the porch gave us the direct ocean view. It´s very well maintained and Tricia is helpful with tipps and bookings. If you plan Hopkins (go there for Garifuna settlement celebration, it´s great to be with the crowd...) you should...

We showed up unexpectedly just as they were opening for the season, but it didn't faze them. Wish we could have spent more time there. Absolutely beautiful! Friendly people all around, too. We spent hours relaxing in the hammocks, in the beach chairs, in the water, in the room...you get the idea. Swimming in the rain or soaking in the...

I found Tipple Tree Beya online, after Hopkins, Belize was recommended to me by a Traveling Friend, and I wrote to Tricia, the Owner/Operator who was outstandingly helpful, giving me accurate answers to all my questions: what to bring, how to get there, et cetera. I arrived and found the Guest House and grounds to be so much lovelier than...

found the tipple tree through a previous guest...i think his idea of vacation accomodations and mine somewhat differ...also beware the descriptive wording the lower end venues exhibit... tipple tree has tricia and doug going for it and they almost...almost...made up for the deficiences...we stayed in an adjacent property because it was air conditioned... large, clean, nicely equipped...only the bedroom had...

Very happy we moved here from another guest house on other side of the village. Good security and natural surveillance at night time as the beach front in hopkins is an ambiguous mix of public and ungated private property. Very helpful owner who assisted with phone calls and travel advice. It was great value for a room stepping out onto...

Perfect spot. Would go to Belize just to stay there again. In fact, may do exactly this... Perfect spot on the beach. Simple rooms. Well kept beach, loved the hammocks. Excellent advice from owner Tricia about where to go and what to do. Easy to bike all over town from here.

I took a night away from my own B&B inland, and was thrilled to find this PERFECT spot in Hopkins. Tricia could not be more accommodating, helpful, friendly, and relaxing and Doug keeps the sand in immaculately clean and raked condition! With excellent dining close by and groceries within walking distance this really is the perfect idillic location to stay.

My friend and I arrived at a place we had reserved for 3 nights on our recent trip to Hopkins. Unfortunately, there were some domestic problems with one of the guests and after traveling all day we wanted to go somewhere else. After being stuck in the mud, we went to Tipple Tree at midnight and they were able to...

I had the pleasure of staying at the Tipple Tree for 4 nights in late May 2016. Tricia and Doug could not have made us (my brother and I) feel more welcome. The 2 bedroom apartment we rented was perfect for us. The entire apartment, including the kitchen was very well appointed (and I used to have a vacation rental...

We stayed for 6 nights at one of the self-catering units not only to experience Hopkins and the beach, but to be close to the Cockscomb Basin Wildlife Sanctuary where we were conducting research. Rooms, including kitchen, were clean, airy, and quiet (at least quiet enough considering we were in the middle of Hopkins and arrived on Boxing Day). Plenty...
