Beaches and Dreams combines the three elements of beach, food and adventure we believe makes for a great vacation. Every one of our 11 rooms is within 100 feet of the ocean, 8 are ocean-front, and our Sea Bar is the best party on the beach. Our fine-dining restaurant, The Barracuda, has a long culinary history, stemming from the original owner of the resort, chef, Tony Marsico. Finally, our guests can depart for any adventure, from diving and snorkeling to visiting the Maya ruins of Xunanatunich right from our adventure office Amped Coffee and Tours or our busy pier, both located at the resort.

My extended family of 12 took a full day fishing and snorkeling tour with Steven, Jeromy and Jeremiah. Tough to hand such a large group that ranged from kids to retirees but this group handled beautifully providing education, excitement and humor. I think everyone agreed this excursion exceed everyone's expectations. We started the morning with a overview of the keys by boat, then our guides showed us how we kick off fishing by throwing nets for our bait. We then spent some time trolling for big fish letting a couple get away but finally reeling in a barracuda. With limited trolling poles and so many wanting to fish we switched tactics fishing along edge of reef. Everyone that wanted to catch a fish did and at a few points we had 3 or 4 fish on lines at one time. In only a couple hours we caught more than 20 keepers (mostly red and yellow snapper) and several throwbacks. Our guides were so helpful in teaching the young one's and helping everyone with such enthusiasm. After fishing we stopped at a laid back island for a chicken lunch then headed our for group snorkeling where Steven did a great job keeping tabs on everyone and pointing out different highlights. We headed back late afternoon where they cleaned our fish for us and sent us back with enough fish for a great evening dinner on the grill. I highly recommend this excursion and this crew!

My husband, granddaughter and I spent the most fabulous week of our lives here, this summer. If you are thinking of heading to a tropical location, choose Beaches and Dreams in Hopkins, Belize! You won’t be disappointed! It is a small, clean, boutique resort, directly on the beach. The entire staff is 5-star worthy! Melanie, Primrose and Darnell in the office, accommodated our every need or ask, swiftly and efficiently. Armondo and Pauline in the restaurant were just plain wonderful. Manuel was our Mayan tour guide and was entertaining, authentic and fantastic! My husband doesn’t know how to swim, yet magically, Kimike taught him to snorkel at the barrier reef and Captain Floyd helped us catch 4 Barracudas plus a red snapper! Our granddaughter was totally thrilled! The restaurant chef cleaned and cooked up all our fish that night and it was delicious! The tours and adventures were like nothing I have ever experienced before. We loved every minute of it! We met some pretty cool friends during our stay and were sad to say goodbye. Our room was spotless, lovely and very comfortable, as well as quite large. Don’t think twice – if you want a vacation that will create unbelievable memories for you and your family, or significant other, book here! Beaches and Dreams is absolutely wonderful! Thanks to every single staff member for going above and beyond to welcome us and make our vacation dreams come true!!

My husband and I, along with our 3 kids ages 16, 13, and 10 just returned from the most amazing vacation at Beaches and Dreams. We were able to custom select the tours that worked for our family prior to arriving with help from the staff via email (they were very quick with responding to any questions). Thank you Melanie, Laura, and Darnell! Once we arrived everything was easy and accessible. It was so nice to have everything done prior to arriving. We just had to show up and have fun. The resort is kept very clean, they even clear away any seaweed that washes on shore during the night. Lounging in the hammocks with a cold drink and listening to the sounds of the sea was perfect. The rooms without AC do get warm but they provide plenty of fans and we were quite comfortable throughout the trip. The Barracuda was fabulous, my son loved the homemade pasta specials and my daughters loved to try different types of seafood. Everything was fresh and made from scratch, absolutely delicious. Amanda, Miss P, Cesar, and Armando were wonderful and knew all our names after the first day and our favorite dishes by the end of the week. Ben, in the bar, makes the best drinks and is always ready with a smile. I can't say enough good things about the staff. Staying in a small resort was wonderful, you really felt like family while there. Highly recommend!

If you are considering Belize, stop right now and book this hotel. Everything about the experience with Beaches and Dreams staff and amenities is what made our trip perfect! The room was the exactly what we needed in terms of size and had everything we needed already there, including AC. The balcony was perfect first thing in the morning, just make sure you have your bug spray! We had a full schedule of tours so didn't have much time to enjoy the kayaks and snorkel gear provided, though we appreciated having them readily available in case any plans changed. The staff was one of the main reasons I will be back to Belize very soon. Mario, our guide, was the most knowledgeable person on everything from the history of the country to the local flora. What we learned as well as experienced is unparalleled to any other trips I have taken. We did go on quite a few excursions, all of which helped us truly admire the beauty that is Belize. I loved the zipline in Bocawina so much that Mario was able to recommend another zipline close to the resort and the staff were able to accommodate a trip to Mayan Adventure the next day; which if you love ziplining, I would recommend doing both! The location for the hotel is a just a short bike or golf cart ride into the village which has some great food and people. Overall, the worst part about our trip was having to leave. I cant wait to make it back to see all my new friends that I made on this first trip of many more to come!

I can’t wait to return to Beaches and Dreams. All arrangements were smooth and effortless. This includes the flights to and from the international airport to Dangriga and transportation to and from Dangriga to Hopkins Village. The location of the resort is perfect for people who want to feel like they have a private beach on the Caribbean to themselves. My daughter and I had a cabana 20 feet from the water and could hear the waves lapping against the shore from our room. It was tastefully decorated, spacious and clean. The food in the restaurant was amazing! It was like eating in a five star restaurant every night without having all of the snobbishness and uncomfortable clothing of that experience. There was a balance of historical/cultural and adventure excursions and they were all well-planned, informative and conducted by personable guides. Every single staff member went above and beyond in every way. Each person knew our names and was willing to answer any questions. As a mom traveling with my adult daughter, I felt quite safe. Belize is beautiful and amazing and this resort is a great choice for a fun and relaxing vacation.

My partner and I stayed at Beaches and Dreams for 5 nights and booked several excursions through the resort. All were absolutely incredible and definitely exceeded our expectations! A lot of these excursions were "firsts" for us, like the ziplining and the snorkeling. The guides were so patient and took the time to make sure we always felt comfortable. The resort itself is beautiful and well taken care of, and all the staff were very friendly. The food was EXCELLENT, never had a disappointing meal! I absolutely got my monies worth on the all inclusive drinks, Ben the bartender knew exactly what I wanted and kept my drink full ;) Oz (not sure if that's the right spelling) was our guide often and he was so informative and easy going. We had a delay in flights on the way there and Melanie helped me take care of everything so getting there was easy. Absolutely would come here again!

We absolutely loved our stay! The staff was amazing and welcoming. This was a very family-friendly place and everyone was so kind. The staff absolutely went above and beyond on several occasions. I was a little worried that my kids wouldn’t eat the food and packed half a suitcase of snacks but they were not needed! The tours they recommended were so fun, the guides were great and the drivers were so sweet and fun. Melanie in the office takes care of the details. Once you are there you don’t have to plan a thing. Oz and Victor were both entertaining and informative on trips in the van. Ben, the bartender, has a smile that will

So special. He even stopped on his way in to work to grab balloons for a family bday. Cesar, Milky, Amanda and Miss P took care of us at meal times. They offered opinions and even went rogue and made a PB&J for the 4 year old when needed. KeyMike, Robbie and Floyd were great on the boat. They participated in our song along when out daughter was scared, made every effort to find the fish they wanted to see and offered tips to our fisherman on the dock. I wish I could remember the names of the housekeeping staff because they checked in with our daughter every day to see how she was and what she had been up to. We can’t wait to go back!

Beaches and Dreams is like a home away from home. All of the staff are kind, compassionate, and accommodating. The food at the Barracuda is immaculate. The rooms in the main building have air conditioning, shampoo/conditioner, body wash, make up removing wipes, Q-Tips, cotton balls, and a blow dryer. They also have a huge jug of filtered water. My Dad and I did the ATM, Nim Li Punit, and Lubaantun tours. We also went fishing. I would recommend allowing yourself time to explore the waters around the resort as it is home to manatees, stingray, and barracuda (amongst other amazing creatures). Beaches and Dreams is definitely a destination worth traveling to!

Our stay at Beaches and Dreams was awesome. The beach is literally right outside your room. The pier on the property is so inviting to watch the moon rise over the ocean and to have a romantic dinner! The staff are all extremely friendly and knowledgeable, from the drivers who chauffeur you to and from adventures to the bartenders to the owners. The food was exceptional. Each night there was a fresh seafood pasta, a catch of the day and a grilled option along with a complete regular menu. The cabana rooms were tidy and conveniently located to beach and restaurant and bar. The adventures were well thought out, reasonably priced and very memorable. We did snorkeling, a jungle river cruise, zip lining, cave tubing and Mayan ruins exploring. We loved the prepay package - just needed small bills for tipping. Met all our expectations and then some!

If you are looking at reviews then you are probably considering staying at Beaches and Dreams... and you should! We stayed in a room with A/C upstairs. The room was super clean. The service is wonderful. The view was amazing. We live in central Florida so we are used to the heat, humidity and bugs. I highly recommend taking bug spray and using it a few times a day along with sunblock. The adventures were the best! The jungle plane was an adventure as well. The guides were so knowledgable and friendly...Mike, Oz, Milky. We did snorkeling, hiking, and the Mayan ruins. The massage at the end of the trip was perfect! The pool was so refreshing. The really great thing about Beaches and Dreams is that is not so over crowded. We enjoyed the pool alone and another time with a couple. You can rent a golf cart and go into town. Make sure to stop by and purchase something from Alex. He has handmade jewelry and wood carvings. Stop by Nice ice cream and enjoy so really great tasting ice cream. I would love to see beaches and dreams add some live music even if it's for an hour each evening. :) The food was omg so tasty and fresh. The watermelon smoothie amazing. The two recommendations I have is for customer service. If someone has not paid the balance or replied that they received an itinerary, I would recommend checking in with them maybe with a phone call to make sure they received the email. It was a bit stressful at first realizing they send out itineraries 2 weeks before your trip and I didn't receive one (yes, I checked my junk folder), but with that being said, we didn't have any issues. I had called at the airport and the gentleman at Beaches and Dreams was helpful. My other is to have a smoking area for smokers. It didn't affect us, but I know our friends were getting a bit annoyed with the smell going in their room. My only negative, I know ugh, was that the dog peed in the sand and that was a bit gross for me. The people downstairs did stay up partying late one night so remember people are on vacation and may want to have a good time. I'm not sure if they have quiet hours but book your trip with beaches and dreams and have fun! The people work hard and it's hot so remember to bring cash for tips and souvenirs. :) We hope to return!

We really had to work at it to go over the dollar amount allotted. We never came away hungry. If you take the fishing excursion the guides will clean the fish you catch and the kitchen will cook it for you. It was really quite fantastic!
