Beaches and Dreams combines the three elements of beach, food and adventure we believe makes for a great vacation. Every one of our 11 rooms is within 100 feet of the ocean, 8 are ocean-front, and our Sea Bar is the best party on the beach. Our fine-dining restaurant, The Barracuda, has a long culinary history, stemming from the original owner of the resort, chef, Tony Marsico. Finally, our guests can depart for any adventure, from diving and snorkeling to visiting the Maya ruins of Xunanatunich right from our adventure office Amped Coffee and Tours or our busy pier, both located at the resort.

Can I just say how amazing the people at this resort are. They were so patient with the kids and the tours are amazing. The bioluminescent tour was our favorite and hard to describe but feels like something out of avatar. We also loved the cave tubing and zip lining. If you like having everything planned then the all inclusive is great. If you like experiencing more variety and local restaurants then maybe opt for the non inclusive. The rooms are nothing exciting but we were hardly in the rooms.

You nailed it Sandy. Our people are our greatest asset. And I love the Avatar/Bioluminescent comparison. Definitely something out of another world!

Beaches and Dreams was the Bomb!! We had so much fun relaxing at this quaint, laid back resort! We met new friends from all over the world! The all inclusive package was great! Birdman and Ben, the bartenders, kept awesome island drinks and others cold one's coming the whole trip! Armando was a friendly and helpful waiter, serving the most delicious five (5) star foods every day! Oz was our outstanding driver and tour guide!! Every staff member we met was helpful and ready to serve. My wife forgot here phone after checkout and they drove it to the airport in time for her to get it before our flight! We'll definitely be back!! Paul and Janet Slayden

My son and I snuck out to this boutique resort in an effort to get warm in the sand and sunshine. We chose Beaches and Dreams because of it's small size (11 rooms, I think), open-air on-site restaurant with available all-inclusive package and a good reputation on Trip Advisor. Because of the pandemic, much of Belize's tourism and destinations were closed. However, the resort had opened a few weeks before our trip with just a handful of visitors. That meant it was super-easy to remain socially distant while enjoying ourselves. We were pleased to meet Ruger the dog and Smith the cat. We were very happy with resort staff- Armando, Milky, Josie, Pauline, and Birdman. Everyone treated us kindly and with just enough attention so that we were not left waiting/wanting. Taking into consideration the need for an adjusted daily menu, I felt our food options were great. Our food came out exactly as ordered, even if they were adjusted from the menu listing. The wifi worked well enough for us to "work" and attend remote classes. The beach was clean, and furniture well-maintained. The only complaint I would have is about the sand fleas- which I hate to "complain" about because they're natural and not necessarily anyone's fault. But please prepare for them if bugs love you- I thought my DEET would take care of all bugs...but no. The sand fleas are apparently very special. You need to use OILS to keep them from biting. I will be sure to do that the next time I visit!

We had such a great time hosting you and we really appreciated you being some of our first guests. You really made it easy! And I'm sorry you had to deal with the no-see-ums. They were really bad that week. Fortunately they've decided to remain largely in the jungle since then!

Simply Amazing. Everything is very clean, peaceful, and beautiful. The staff at Beaches and Dreams go above and beyond. They are friendly, caring, helpful, hard working, and make a great team. The owners are down to earth, thoughtful and there for you when needed. I would recommend this place for all lifestyles, ages, and travel. I recommend you bring more than plenty of bug spray and immediately apply it when arriving and continue every 2 to 4 hours. If you do an excursion I could recommend so many! Just know your limits and ask questions about how far or difficult a trail could be. The only thing that didn't seem worth it was the river fishing after rainy season. Otherwise it would be great for fly fisherman. DO NOT ignore the cute town of Hopkins. Plan to spend a few afternoons exploring and getting to know the people of Hopkins. I recommend seeing Alex for true Belizean gifts. Ella's has an AMAZING fresh lobster. Nice Cream has the best ice cream in the world. If your craving and missing american style did go to drift wood pizza. They have everything to help your craving. Don't be afraid to talk to the locals. They can give you advice and little secrets to make your stay better.

It was so nice to have you here during our first month back open since the country reopened. I wasn't sure if we'd be able to deliver the "Beaches and Dreams" experience during this time, but I never should have doubted this team! Thank you again for joining us and we look forward to seeing you again!

BEACHES AND DREAMS RESORT REVIEW February 2020 I want to extend my heart filled thanks and appreciation to Ryan and Jessica, owners of Beaches and Dreams as well as Francine, their hospitality manager. Ryan was very patient and accommodating over the past year, as it took us several attempts to get our act together to plan and book this trip. When we finally made a commitment and booked our accommodations at B&D, they arranged our diving for us with a local diving shop. Francine put together a proposed itinerary for our group that not only included the diving, but some local land activities to take in. She was very flexible to cancel these plans and let us decide what activities we wanted to do after we arrived. Beaches and Dreams is a small boutique resort that easily accommodated our group of 6. The rooms are well appointed and comfortable. Some of us enjoyed the air conditioning in their main hotel room while the rest of us enjoyed the cabanas on the beach. The meals provided by the Barracuda Restaurant and Grill were excellent and their daily specials were creative and different in order to keep the menu “fresh”. The chefs were also able to accommodate our dietary needs by adjusting their use of wheat and dairy in the entrees. The real commitment of Ryan, Jessica and Francine to their guests was evident on our last day of diving when my husband displayed symptoms of decompression sickness. Francine knew and contacted a local dive safety specialist in San Pedro, Abner Bacab, who arranged an air evacuation for us to San Pedro, met us at the airport, accompanied us to the doctor’s office and hyperbolic chamber for treatments. Francine handled our other needs by booking accommodations for us in San Pedro and Jessica, drove us to the Dangriga airport and shipped our luggage to us the next day, because we literally left with the clothes on our back! We are personally indebted to B&D for handling this situation as well the team of people in San Pedro who provided the medical care my husband required. Our lovely trip to Belize could have ended very differently without their extra ordinary care and concern.

This was such an important event down here for us. Your family was so excellent at helping us handle this situation and we're so glad everything worked out. I will certainly pass this on to the rest of the team, as they are the ones who deserve all the credit!
