Beaches and Dreams combines the three elements of beach, food and adventure we believe makes for a great vacation. Every one of our 11 rooms is within 100 feet of the ocean, 8 are ocean-front, and our Sea Bar is the best party on the beach. Our fine-dining restaurant, The Barracuda, has a long culinary history, stemming from the original owner of the resort, chef, Tony Marsico. Finally, our guests can depart for any adventure, from diving and snorkeling to visiting the Maya ruins of Xunanatunich right from our adventure office Amped Coffee and Tours or our busy pier, both located at the resort.

Let me tell you about this place. It is absolutely amazing! My boyfriend and I had just spent a full week here. We booked a four excursion and breakfast only package and stayed in the hotel. If you are wanting a great view, get the hotel room, rather than the cabana, we were

After enjoying such a great, relaxing stay five years ago with such a personal touch from Tony and Angela the owners, my wife and I were little apprehensive about what it would be like with new owners and more than double the capacity. But while it was somewhat different, it

My boyfriend and I booked threw beaches and dreams for a 7 night vacation. Which is where the first of several issues began. When we received our itinerary it was only for 6 night and 7 days, the 7th day in which we had to check out at 9:30 am. When we arrived we were supposed

We absolutey LOVED Beaches and Dreams!! We stayed on the 3rd floor of the inn and the morning sunrise views were amazing. Our room was super cute, really clean and tended to daily by the housekeeper. The bed and linens were perfect and the A/C worked like a charm. We slept

This was my first ever trip out of the US, and it was wonderful. B&D is a lovely boutique hotel, with six air-conditioned rooms, two cabana and a “treehouse” which have no AC. We believed we had reserved a first floor room (I have some issues with my knees and ankles which

I'm not sure. They offer a snorkeling tour which is what we did. They took us out on a boat into the ocean & I thought it was great!

Yes there is some hiking involved and stairs on each platform. You can take as much time as you need and take it slow. They have rest stops. When I went there were very young children and older folks as well. Guides were very helpful. Went out of Beaches and Dreams. Hope you get to try it, so much fun!

We don't usually included drinks and lunch in our packages, since our guests are often out on adventures all day, so it doesn't make economic sense for them. We can always quote a package including these things though.

We have a lot of trips that would be great for kids of that age. If you just use the custom package request form on our website and note the ages of your children, we'll design something perfect for you!

Breakfast and dinner were included in our package. The menu has lots of options and there were always 4-5 specials as well, usually fresh fish dishes. The restaurant is closed for lunch but the beach bar has pizza and kabobs. We rode bikes into town for lunch - gave us a chance to try local dishes. Alcohol drinks were not included but not expensive either. I don't think there was a charge for coffee or soft drinks. Our package included several excursions as well as the short airplane ride to major airport.
