A beautiful colonial style building with covered verandas, rooftop deck, pool with waterfall, jetted tub and water slide. A large great room with full kitchen, big screen TV and recreation area equipped with a library of games and movies to choose from. Great for groups to rent the whole resort, room for 14-20 adults and kids. Great diving, snorkeling, fishing, hiking, zip line, cave tubing, Maya ruin exploring and chocolate making expeditions just a short distance away.

Great breakfast, flexible accommodations - letting us use their kitchen to prepare our own food was a bonus. Love the pool - nice and deep, and the excellent breakfast was appreciated so we could stay on site and relax

Our group of 7 rented the entire B+B for 5 days. We were met upon arrival and shown the rooms. They were all clean and ready for us. One of the king rooms did have some trouble with water leakage. I was a bit surprised when I came out for breakfast the first day and found a stranger in the kitchen. Apparently the breakfast is available for guests of the rental rooms next door. Same goes for the pool. I was not told that guests outside the house would be taking advantage of the amenities and this was quite off-putting. The rooftop overlook was quite nice at night although the stair railing was restained with no wet paint sign for warning. The house and pool were clean, the staff friendly, and the breakfasts delicious.

My extended family and I stayed one night here before leaving Belize. Before this we spent a week at Hamanasi. So going from the absolutely perfect Hamanasi to this place is not quite fair... However.... Upon arrival we were met by Clyde. He did his best to direct us to our rooms and the first three on the first floor were fine. Then we went to the room that was reserved for 4 young men. There was a made up futon and a folded absolutely gross roll away. The mattress was ripped and when opened their was an old nasty pillow inside. No way was anyone sleeping on that. We moved to a room with 2 futons but an aircondtioner that didn't work well but they set up fans and it was fine. When they made up the futons though there was not a mattress pad.. Clyde was all alone at work and the poor guy was frazzled by our arrival and the change of room and then my brother came down and said the air in their room wasn't working either. He went to check on that as well.. When we went to bed we discovered a plastic mattress pad, those are not really nice to sleep on and very noisy. Other than that our room was very nice. We were told breakfast was from 6-9. My sister was told 7 am. But we are an early group and were hovering before 7. Breakfast was ready about 7:30. It was a nice breakfast. The place needs some work, but the price was reasonable for the area which is what we were looking for. Just be aware that the beds are not great and the futons are futons... and the roll aways need to be replaced.

We rented six of the seven suites at this B&B. Kids loved the water slide. Everyone enjoyed the pool. Breakfast is included and for a charge they can cook dinner as well. Rooms were nice and the comfortable. Spent the evenings on the veranda overlooking the pool. They have a tiki like bar up there too, but it's not stocked or manned so you provide your own beverages. Has a third floor roof patio as well. We had the kitchen area at our disposal and prepared our own lunch and dinner meals.

We were unexpectedly upgraded to the apartment (Pelican), so I can't really write about the rooms. The apartment was great, with a well equipped kitchen, granite countertops, eat in counter for 4 etc. The resort itself is quiet and pleasant, although a bit more rundown than the pictures might show. The pool is inviting although the jetted tub and waterfall were never turned on while we were there. There's a common area suite with a kitchen and living area with games and DVDs. Breakfast is served from there with seating at tables on the covered deck. Breakfast was cooked in small batches each morning and kept warm in crockpots. It is varied each day-- pancakes, eggs and tortillas, french toast etc. with sausage or bacon and fresh fruit. The beach, which they share with the neighboring resort was lovely, with plenty of (coarse) sand and not too much seaweed (if you want a decent beach in Belize, Hopkins is a good choice).
