We were exhausted, we needed to rest snd we needed a clean and cozy place to lie our heads and relax. I also wanted sand, sea and coconut trees; he wanted a charming village to explore. The Hopkins Inn offered all that and more! We visited in January / February 2020 where we lucked out when the super cozy honeymoon cabana was available. What a delightful find! We went right back there in July 2021, choosing Hopkins as our seaside, centrally located stop because of the Inn. We scheduled to stay a while the last time in the seafront cabana (but all of them are fabulous) The owners are so kind, laidback, and fun, but also knowledgeable, caring and accommodating. And did I mention the wonderful coffee, and assorted fresh fruits and breads served every morning? Or the fresh juice served in the coconut? Or the purified water available 24/7?? Yes, there are bigger and flashier places to stay in Hopkins, but do you really want a generic experience when you can have 5 star authenticity and comfort? We have travelled all areas of the mainland the bigger Cayes; you will not find a better place to stay in a better village in a better location - and this compared to Placencia, Caye Caulker and Ambergris Caye/San Pedro. I cannot say enough good things about Hopkins Inn - or did I just?? 💜

This place...WOW!! Couldn't have chosen a better place to stay! True Gem in the heart of Hopkins. This property is literally 25 ft from the water! A nice walk on the beach will lead you to multiple local restaurants with wonderful drinks and atmosphere! The hosts Will & Leslie were phenomenal! Southern hospitality at its finest with complimentary drinks, breakfast, and very solid recommendations for local eats! They were kind enough to let us use the sea kayak and recommended a trip to the lagoon which was awesome! They also have a paddleboard available for use! Overall this was a 5 star experience! The Cabana was very clean and well equipped with hot water! Made use of the hammocks to take in all the atmosphere! Can't express how much we recommend this place, we hope you read this and take it all in like we did! Great place for couples and also for families! They have the space to accommodate both! Also has parking! This place has it all! We will definitely be back next time we are in town! We fell in love with our cabana! Cheers 🍻

I do not travel much and so this was a great place to land- they are so incredibly welcoming and helped me greatly with my visit- arranging taxis, sending me to the best eating establishments, and generally anticipating my needs. Breakfast was filling and delicious. The rooms (I stayed in two- upgraded once for free!) were clean and well organized with good reading, good lighting, great air circulation, etc. Istayed here in 2016 and would stay again. Its easy to get to things in town from here, walking, and you really get a feeling for being a part of Hopkins.
