We have been here a number of times before and will keep coming back as often as we can. The rooms are rustic, but beautiful. There is nothing better than sitting on the veranda in the hammocks and looking at and listening to the ocean. Having stayed at some all inclusive, the concept of a beach without any people on it is sooooo special. The hosts are extremely pleasant, and keep the facility super clean. If you want peaceful beautiful places - this is it! No cooking facilities, but lots of great restaurants within walking distance.
I have stayed @ Tipple Tree 4 years and would not think of any other place. I love that it is located in the village of Hopkins to allow me to absorb the culture and feel a small part of village life. Since I travel solo, I feel so very comfortable/safe @ TT. Trish and Doug are always available and take great care and pride in maintaining their property to perfection. The rooms are clean and I love the hammock on the porch with a clear view of the ocean. At night it is wonderful to listen to the sounds of the ocean. While I was there I had an injury and Trish was super helpful in helping me. Great customer service! The beach is always clean and just a few steps away.
This place is gorgeous. It’s efficiently run and all the rules (there are many) are spelled out clearly. Our reception was not welcoming, in that we were chastised for being 30 mins early. They have many recommendations for places to eat but have not been to most of them. If you want a place that’s casual and friendly, this place feels fussy and uptight.
For 9yrs my wife and I have been going to Hopkins Belize. Each time we stay with Tricia and Doug at the Tipple Tree Beja guest house.Very beautiful set up.Tricia and Doug make you feel very comfortable and welcome.Lots of knowledge of all the tours available in the village.Avery affordable place to stay in Hopkins with the view alone worth all the money.
My husband and I enjoyed a brief stay in Hopkins at Tricia’s place. We were in the seashell room and spoiled with beach front accommodations. Budget friendly, and serene! The power went out for a brief while when we were there, and Tricia provided us with any supplies we needed. Such a nice host and a lovely little getaway.
