The Gondwana lodge at Sanbona is amazing in every respect. The staff, the setting, the food and actually everything. From the second we arrived we realised we were in great hands, having travelled the 4 hours from Cape Town. We settled for a few mins,...More

We've just returned from the lodge. You are going to have a fab time! We stayed for two nights we didn't drink a lot but the drinks are so reasonably priced which was a very pleasant surprise. We had wine for dinner times and some soft drinks around the pools ... I think our bill was barely £10!! I think it wasn't far off £1.50 a glass of wine (if that?!). It's lovely to not be charged for overpriced extras considering the location.
