Only had 2 nights here but so peaceful and tranquil. The bambi-like deer (Arabian Oryx I think) roaming around, even wandering onto your pool deck, is a charming feature. Each bedouin-style cabin has a plunge pool and is secluded, spacious and ornately furnished. The food is amazing, with outside dining in the evening in the restaurant a great experience, equally breakfast delivered and set up in your cabin was fantastic. Service is excellent. You can even have it on a floating tray in the pool! Activities were good, particularly the 4x4 dune-bashing (though not one of the free activities). I guess if you were staying a week or longer then you would burn through the available activities pretty quickly - but that's fine if your goal is mainly just to relax and laze around in desert opulence. Loved it.

While certain aspects of this property may seem dated to some, they simply lack appreciation for a finely curated and maintained property… and institution, really. Everything was to a high standard and the staff are so adept at delivering genuinely wonderful, but never pretentious service, the make it look easy. But that should not be confused with it actually being easy. It’s not. And everyone at this property was contributing to a precision in hospitality which is becoming harder to find. The excursions were wonderful. Beds comfortable. Food was excellent. Now a note on children. We had two with us. I think the property discourages children which is understandable because so many people allow their children to be little monsters. Interestingly, not unlike old perceptions of the “Ugly American”, we have become, by comparison, the BEST guests in the world and the children we had with us I’m sure were better guests than many adults.

We were visiting Dubai from Canada and we’ve been to a number of five star / luxury resorts before. This place is the best place we’ve ever been to, with a large distance from the second place. The room was absolutely stunning, the outdoor private swimming pool was an amazing experience both during the day and night. Staff were very professional and helpful. We did camel riding and the falcon show for our activities and they were both incredible. Roshan (one of the managers there) was very helpful and kind. The restaurant was very elegant with a beautiful view and high quality food. I tell you that if this place was $20,000 a night, it would have still been worth it. Honestly, it is inexpensive compared to the experience. I have never had a similar experience in my life and I strongly recommend that you spend at least one night at this resort (2-3 nights if you can). You will not regret it.

All the positive reviews absolutely do this place justice. We have been to several upscale five star properties in Bora Bora, New York, etc. but this one clearly surpasses them in terms of service, peacefulness, and the quality of food/dining options. A special shout out to Irfan who is the front office manager and has been at the property for more than 10 years. He along with the rest of his team made our stay absolutely special!

WOW- JUST WOW!! We came to Dubai on our honeymoon (right before heading to Maldives). I came across this hotel on Instagram and thought wow this looks cool AND it's a marriot so we decided to give it a try and I am SO glad we did. We were only here for 24 hours but wish we had another day or two since there is SO much to enjoy about this property. I'd definitely recommend 2-3 days here but after that, you may get sick of it as there is not too much to do. Our room is absolutely beautiful with a private pool overlooking the desert. It was so peaceful with the most beautiful view. The room itself was great, very clean and lots of space. The service here was absolutely unbelievable. They were so attentive to our needs and would drop anything for us. i've never seen service like this in my life. The activities were so fun and amazing that 2 are included per night. we did camel riding which was incredible and wildlife drive which was good but not great. Last but not least the food was THE BEST PART. I always love all inclusive because you don't have to worry about what you want and how much it costs. Only thing you have to pay for is drinks which was fine. The food was so top notch and included so many courses. We did lunch and dinner at the restaurant but breakfast we did room service which was incredible. They came and set it up and even took a picture of us. THE MOST SPECIAL PLACE! If I didn't live so far (in NY), I would come back here often. Hope I can return again one day!
