We stumbled upon this place by accident as we were driving around the island. What a nice place. We had lunch and then went for a snorkel. Good visibility in the water, lots of fish and quite a bit of coral. Lunch (steak, battered fish and fried fish) was OK but nothing special. On future visits to Vanuatu, we will... More

We loved the peacefulness and friendliness, of Havannah Eco lodge. Being bale to light a fire on the beach was special.. Lovely snorkeling and walks. Great to visit when no cruise ships are in town. Many thanks everyone at the Lodge.

We stopped there for lunch as we were driving around the island. It appeared very peaceful and with the island across, the beach is protected and therefore was calm and inviting. Food was a little overpriced (but that's the case almost everywhere on the island) and choices are limited but it was really good. I had grilled fish and it... More

Nice individual bungalows close to the water's edge with lovely big patios and spectacular views. Cooking equipment provided but not in very good condition. There were holes in the insect screens over the windows but we didn't notice any mosquitoes or sand flies and didn't get any bites (we did use repellent and mosquito coils). Cleanliness was an issue e.g.... More

Stayed one night after a special birthday lunch at Francesca s restaurant. The bungalows are great and in a very special spot right by the water, We had a lovely relaxing afternoon on the deck and enjoyed champagne with one of the chef's specialities- delicious tuna sashimi. All downhill from there, as the owner allowed 21 people to park next... More

We visited Gideon's Landing Restaurant as part of a personalised tour of Efaté. We had wanted to visit Survivor Beach, having seen the show. Stopped for a glass of wine. Lovely spot! Will happily visit again!

Whilst doing am island drive, we found gideons landing by chance. Although we only stayed for lunch, we found a beautiful place to have a great feed. The staff were awesome and the kids (and big kids) found a beautiful snorkelling area where fish are abundant at knee depth. Plan to head back later this week for round two. So... More

We had a terrific day and were very impressed with the flexibility that was shown around our diverse group with one older person. It still was very direct and interesting and a real life experience for all. We didn't stay overnight but it was well worth the trip up from Port Vila. We saw the famous cave and had a... More

Fantastic beach and coral outside but the bungalows were in poor condition, floor was covered in slime, shower didn't work properly, no hot water, insects, grit and dirt over everything. beds were comfortable but no ceiling fan,...
