We had the most magical stay in the 7th Room. The view from the bedroom is on a different scale epic. Whilst the purified shower seemed like a good idea it’s not if you are the last person having a shower as it will be cold. This was the only minor negative comment about the room which was otherwise fabulous.
We had a wonderful 3 course supper, Michelin star quality and breakfast was fabulous, lots of choice, high quality, we particularly loved the DIY freshly squeezed orange juice. The 1930ies decor didn’t quite work for us.
This place needs to be on your bucket list.
Thank Msfluffy

Being in the big silent Swedish woods, or the far north of Sweden is not uncommon to me. Therefore I couldn't exactly envisage what the Treehotel could add to it when I was invited by my family to go to there. It was a birthday present. Frankly speaking I thought it was a kind of "tourist trap", if you understand what I mean.
However, I have to say it was an outstanding experience from arrival to departure. It was warm, welcoming, and exceptional living. The usual comfort with running heated tap water, water closets, tubs and showers had been replaced by adequate water tanks over a basin, water bottles, combustion toilets and a central building with wooden shower cabins. Everything nicely constructed and feeling fully appropriate with regards to the surroundings. The interior room decorations were unique and the beds really comfy.
The view from The Cabin where me and my wife stayed was breathtaking in the morning. We never pulled the blinds down. No one can look in anyhow!
We had three course dinners both nights. Both dinners, prepared by Sebastian on Friday and Sara on Saturday, were exceptional. So good! Outstanding breakfasts too.
Extremely friendly and helpful staff, The whole concept is fantastic in my view. Such an achievement in such a remote location.
Highly recommended for everybody looking for something completely different, a serene stay in a clean area with fresh air and delicious organic food made from local raw materials.
This is a place to recharge mentally and enjoy one of the more exotic hotels in the world in my view. Bring your family too! It's a great place to get together, and talk to each other. Complimentary WiFi available, not to make you too anxious!
Finally, staying at the Treehotel really added something too me after all. A lifelong pleasant memory.

Just had a great 3 days at the tree house hotel, from the moment you arrive the guys look after you. Check in is nice and easy and the staff take care of all the baggage. Once checked in the tree houses are are a short walk away, the walk is well lit and well signposted so you can't get lost, if you struggle getting up the little hill there is rope to help you up.

Once you arrive in the area of the tree houses take time to have a alook around it really is something else. We stayed in the blue cone which doesn't have a shower but fear not the hotel has got showers 50 mts away with lovely suna and hot tub. During the night you can get a good view of the lights without going to far.

Food holy smokes this is some of the best food we have had in Sweden and we have stayed 5 star all the way.. the chef is more than happy to deal with your needs and you love the food once it arrives at your table... I would of gone on to eat the plate.

If you want to take a walk out to the shop it's about 2.4k away and it's a co op you can get all the normal stuff there. The hotel also has a nice little spot down near the lake to vist.

I would like to thank all the staff johnas, kajsk maja mia and Therese excellent keep up the good work

Fantastic and spectacular hotelrooms high up in the pine trees, with a view over the Luleå river valley. Familiar and friendly atmosphere. I will try the UFO room next time! All rooms drawn by different architects, just looking around is worth a visit. You can have a nice dinner with local food in the hotel restaurant. Harads is just a short distance from the polar circle. We recommend visiting in early summer with daylight all around the clock, or in the darkest and coldest part of winter when you can see the northern lights in the sky.
