We booked the crossing package offered, $180 PP for 2 nights stay, 2x breakfast, 1x packed lunch, 1x dinner and transport to and from the drop off/pick up points at the crossing. This was GREAT value for money. Our double room was a good size, clean and the bed was very comfortable. The shared bathroom was again very clean and...

We stayed here for one night while touring North Island. We did a flight around the volcanoes and some short hikes, but not the Tongariro Crossing. Booking here was easy and communication worked well across the internet. We found it easily and check in was very friendly. Very nice people. We were very pleasantly surprised with our room which was...

You will not meet nicer, kinder people on your travels than this. Willing to go out of their way to make sure you get the best experience. Highly recommend getting transportation to Tongariro Alpine Crossing with these guys, even if you don't stay with them.

Our party of 6 adults took the Tongariro crossing package, and would find it hard to find any fault with the accommodation, meals and service that we received. It surpassed our expectations. The lodge was warm, clean and comfortable, and the meals were great. The complete package was well received and value for money.

The good - Lorraine's helpful information, transportation to and from the Tongariro Crossing, comfortable bed and ample breakfast. The not so good - thin walls, we found our room to be a little dusty and an overwhelming smell of disinfectant in the indoor hot tub.

We stayed one night at Adventure Lodge & Motel and it was a good place to stay; it was only a short drive (15-20 kms) to Whakapapa village, where we wanted to go for walks in Tongariro NP. Our room was big enough and clean, staff was helpful (they booked us to a great Sunday Roast at a nearby restaurant)...

My husband and I stayed for 2 nights in April. We would have liked to have done the Crossing, but unfortunately the weather wasn't good enough. Instead, the motel staff/owner (?) suggested some other great walks which were lovely. Our room was a good size and nicely presented. The bed was really comfortable. It was pretty cold when we first...

What a great place to stay to do the famous Tongariro Crossing hike! We were provided with a hearty breakfast the day of the hike. Transportation to and from the hike. A substantial lunch to take with us on the hike and a wonderful evening meal that night. We also had a continental breakfast the day of our departure. Thanks...

A friend and I spent four nights at the Adventure Lodge & Motel and would recommend it to anyone looking for accommodation of this sort in the Tongariro National Park Village. The staff and owners were friendly, helpful, and chatty. Shuttle to and from the crossing was comfortable and timely. Staff monitored the weather to ensure we could get to...
