This is a rather simple but very comfortable property. Prices (for everything) on the island are high and if you come to Noronha with luxury in mind the cost of your stay will be astronomical. This pousada, for 4 nights, was perfect for us. The greeting was great. The room was in a quiet location. Wifi is aweful (which is a normality on the island) and slowish 4G was used to complement. The bed was king-size and very comfortable. Television was not used at all. A/C was used nonstop. The refrigerator was used to always have cold drinks. Breakfast was cooked to order (at an agreed time) with many different choices/items and it was very delicious. The staff are VERY nice and accommodating and we could not thank them enough. Location is fine.....a 5-minute downhill walk to the main touristic area......and a 2-minute walk to the bus stop (it is a free service that covers the island every 30 minutes). A taxi to return to the airport cost us R$30....and taxis are plentiful on the island. The front desk can recommend excursions and when we just could not find a dune buggy rental on our own, we asked and within 10 minutes a buggy appeared at the front door. Highly recommend!…
People at this B&B are so nice and polite. Facilities and breakfast are ok. Price is a bit expensive. We thought it was because it is carnival, but we heard price is expensive all year around. It makes the island’s pública A/B class. Despite it all, staff is so nice and they help to overcome anything. Recommend it.
This pousada first of all has a very friendly staff. It starts with some informative emails after booking, a free transfer from the airport and a very friendly welcome with a typical café da tarde! Our specific requests during our stay were also handled very friendly and quickly (like having a bottle of ice to drink our own champagne). The rooms are clean on a daily basis and the breakfast is fresh with many options and also open for special requests. The bed and douche are also comfortable. All in all we have had a great time!
We had problems in another pousada because other guests were very noisy, and the staff at Lenda das Águas helped our move to be very smooth. Good size of bedrooms, very clean, excellent breakfast and very nice staff. I super recommend!!!
The average pousada (hotel) in Noronha is very simple, despite the high prices. This pousada is no different, so that's why I'm considering it average. If you want a better place, you'll need to pay double or triple the price. The best thing about the pousada is the service. The ladies at reception always tried to be helpful and gave us some good tips. The worst thing is that the walls between bedrooms are paper thin, so you'll hear absolutely everything that goes on around you. But hopefully you're lucky and don't get any crying babies or partying teenagers. The rooms are small but functional, with air conditioning, minibar, and a private bathroom with hot shower. There is a TV with no reception, and the wi-fi is non-existent (not even to check e-mails). Also, the cleanliness was definitely not a highlight... The location is good, being quite central, the breakfast is all right, and they do offer an afternoon tea. There is a decent hammock in front of each room. Would I go back? Probably not, but then again I'm not at all certain that I would find a better place.…
