I'm originally from San Diego, CA, but have been living in Playa del Carmen for the past 2.5 years. I'd like to say that I know the area extremely well. I recently stumbled upon Hacienda Sacnicte about 6 months and hands down it's one of the most magical places I've been to since moving to the Yucatan. When I first... More

Stayed one night while visiting Izamal. Out of town a few miles and very private. We were the only guests that night. Cool old buildings in the distance. Beautiful room architecture and design. Spacious sitting areas. Swimming pool. Fresh fruits , rolls, granola and honey for breakfast with juice and coffee. Very nice experience and would be a great wedding... More

We just completed a wonderful three nights at this small and charming hacienda. Fantastic. Its greatest strength, without a doubt, is the lovely and highly competent manager, Paola, and her staff. Paola did everything from book the rooms via email, arrange transportation to and from Merida and surrounding attractions, advise on touring activities, to taking special menu orders for our... We expend a weekend there, absolutely gorgeous settings, excellent taste, we have a master suite so confortable that one would like to stay longer......It is only 10 minutes distance to Izamal, Magic town were you have to visit the franciscan Convent a real jewel of historic interest. The peaceful location, the colonial atmosphere, the exquisite eclectic decoration, the warm welcoming though very discrete presence of the owners : this is Hacienda Sacnicte, a unique retreat where to spend an unforgettable getaway. I was there with friends so we used the family suite, a suggestive two-levels suite with baldaquin bed, and a huge bathroom with L´Occitane amenities. This... More

We loved the Hacienda! Since you arrive until you leave, you get that feeling of visiting the home of old friends. Orlando, Carlos, Paco and Ermita make you feel welcome and value in every interaction. I am Mexican and the view of the hotel facade is the classic image of an old Hacienda, once inside is a bit more diverse... More

We loved Hacienda Sacnicte! It is a peaceful place in a beautiful garden with a pool and patio outside of Izamal. The owners were not there on our three-night stay, but the staff was very friendly, helpful and we felt like home far away from home. The rooms are very big and everyone is unique and well-decorated. It is a... More

My stay at Hacienda Sacnite was the poorest and the most terrible one ever. First, to get there was oughfull, no sings conduct you to the Hacienda. Price vs. quality are far away from what you can get, it is a 215 usd per night for a Hacienda, that it has been redecorated but that owners are never there and... More
