Everything cool. The people who work there are kind and the place is close to the beach. It's a very nice eco-friendly place. The default breakfast is like a petit-déjeuner but you can change it for anything in the menu, by paying the difference. It's my very first time in a hostel. I'd come back here for sure.

The facilities are actually quite nice, the place is a bit far but beautiful. However, the staff will possibly make your stay extremely unpleasant. Many people have already complained about these guys. Be careful with David, the owner. If he doesn't like you, he will probably give you a hard time. He is an agressive, rude and unfair person, not... More

After the first night we noticed we were covered in bed bug bites. Both beds were (highly) affected and led us to move out. No reimbursement was offered, no "sorry", no sympathy from the owner whatsoever. During a long discussion, we learned that he had given the SAME (untouched) beds to new guests already ("testing out if we were right").... More

Had a private room with en suite. Very cozy and bathroom was beautifully decorated. Well equipped kitchen and nice outside seating area. Good wifi. For our free beakfast we had fresh juice and cake. There was more than that to choose from though. Was a bit far from things. Staff were really nice :)

My friend and I stayed in one of the bungalows for six nights. We were very happy with the accommodations, price and food and cleaning service but found the service at reception could have been better. Reception made us feel like we were inconveniencing them whenever we asked for something and gave us misinformation about the area.

We travelled with our two Kids (4y, 7y) for over five weeks through Yucatan. In February, we stayed at the Ida y Vuelta for two weeks. It was an absolutely amazing experience! Eating these delicious Omeletas with Salsa de Habanero in the shade of the Palm Trees for Breakfast....es el Paraiso! Sasha and David and the whole Staff were very... More

It is a shame that such a beautiful place has such a bad service. My boyfriend and me arrived late at night due to a 4 hour drive and eventhough that in the page says that the reception it's open 24 hours, there was NO ONE around to give us our room. After 20 minutes of wandering around, we finally... More

We had only planned to spend 4 nights at Ida y Vuelta and ended up staying for 7! We stayed in one of the thatched roof huts, it was great! Rustic yet comfortable and reasonably priced. We enjoyed lounging in our hammock and listening to the sounds of the Island. Everyone who works there were very friendly and approachable. We... More

Grounds were clean & beautiful. So many plants & flowers to enjoy. Breakfast was yummy & perfect with such friendly service. Started every day of our trip out perfectly. Our cabana was a perfect size & cleaned every morning with fresh towels. We will return to this hostel without a doubt and are looking forward to it!

The mosquitos are fierce here, but if you can survive them, this hostel is a great place to stay. It's a beautifully constructed group of buildings just a block from the beach. Everything is made of natural materials and concrete. The paintings are fantastic! I believe the owner's wife painted them. There are lots of hammocks and a place for... More
