This is an A-M-A-Z-I-N-G hotel and I would say a version of what I believe to be our version of paradise - we strongly recommend the Luna Suite. Yet, there are a feel things that you must know before arriving:

We loved the view from our penthouse room and the great service we received from Takywara management. This is a small hotel right on the beach on Holbox Island, I think maybe 5 or 6 rooms and a Bungalow. This was a quiet section of...More

Hi Phillip, thanks for your feedback.
Our spot on the island is great! Private and quiet. Just 10 minutes walk to the center.
Only 6 rooms in total, gives us the possibility to personalize the experience of each guest.
I'm really glad you enjoyed.
We could not have made a better reservation!!
Two couples. We had the two suites on the second floor. Excellent for visiting on the private deck.
Room was comfortable, air conditioning and fan. Lots of windows. Kitchen area well equipped, we made light lunches.

The beach is absolutely beautiful! No rocks in the water, which is quite shallow and very warm. If you walk out a short way you can definitely swim, but it doesn't get very deep, perhaps chest high. It's just gorgeous!
