This place could be amazing, but... it really needs to have a face lift. It still feels like a 1970s' hotel that has never been taken care off. All facades are in bad shape. The pool is green. Bathrooms very old and toooooo big. Our terrace had no umbrella to make some shade and the jacuzzi belonged to another era. It barely worked. But... room comfort was amazing. The views astonishing. First class and amicable personnel. Superb food. Beautifully maintained gardens and fountains. Beware... the is no wifi.
Tepoztlán is a place full of energy and Sitio Sagrado y one of the best places to relax with your loved one. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The service could be better, mostly in the pool area. The spa is great and the food is ok.
Amazing place for a peaceful, romantic getaway with breathtaking views. Rooms are spacious and well kept, staff is friendly and the spa experience will leave you very relaxed and happy. Try the “gruta de los sentidos” treatment for a complete experience.
This place used to be amazing and beautiful The place is still amazing, yet the hotel areas, pool area, and rooms need a lot of upkeep. The pool was freezing and water all dirty with leaves and insects floating around. There was only one person giving out towels, attending the bar area, serving the drinks, and running back and forth to the restaurant for the food ordered at the pool. The place could be gorgeous. We love the massages, staff is very attentive, always willing to help out or offer anything you might need. Food in the restaurant is just okay, and to me it was expensive. The restaurant needs to add new items and more gourmet options. Also they might put different menus for lunch and dinner, not the same one. People planning on staying inside to relax all weekend do get bored for the same options lunch and dinner for two or three days, since the menu is not as extensive either. There are many things broken down around the hotel...... lounge chairs, umbrellas, blinds in the restaurant window....it's not good image for the hotel. The rooms need fixing up. Paint is cracking. Our friend's room was not good at all. They would not get hot water in the shower, the jacuzzi in the rooftop was all dirty and when they turned it on mud came out of it. The hotel maintenance confessed the jacuzzi had not worked for days. So why offer that room to a paying customer? It makes me sad, to see such a beautiful place go down like this. We were told the owner does not want to invest in the place anymore. So, before you take a chance and go, make sure the hotel maintenance is being done.…
I love the common areas of the hotel . Also the massages and the spa are excellent. I was expecting more from the rooms amenities . The internet is bad and the tv cable is very basic. There is one restaurant with a nice menu (nothing that you can not get in Mexico), nice place for a romantic dinner. There is a pool and you can order drinks in the pool. The pool is not heat it , so if it windy , forget the pool. In summary it is too expensive for the quality of the services provided
