Wonderful hosts, great breakfasts, wonderful setting. Carrie and Malcolm were very helpful and great at giving advice on where to eat and visit on the island. Great value for money. Have no trouble recommending this to anyone visiting PIE. The breakfasts are a highlight and enough to keep you going until late in the day.

Briarcliffe Inn is surrounded by beautiful fields and landscaping, with plentiful lounge chairs on which to enjoy the tranquil surroundings. Had lots of fun helping the owners Carrie and Malcolm feed the pigs! Also had a nice walk down to the beach around sunset. The inside of the inn has a quaint historical feel to it, and is thoughtfully furnished... More

My husband and I decided that we would get married while visiting PEI this summer. After considering all of the wonderful options PEI has to offer we decided on a simple ceremony at the Briarcliffe Inn. Carrie and Malcom did everything they could to make our day special including being our witnesses. They are such a lovely couple, and it... More

Our stay at "The Briarcliffe Inn" was surreal from the moment we booked with our hosts Carrie and Malcolm. My husband and I traveled with a dear friend from Germany, and imagine our amazement when an email arrived from our hosts offering us a delightful complementary room for our guest! Our entire stay was followed by one surprise after another... More

We decided to stay at the Briarcliffe Inn during our first stay in PEI. The house is nestled at the end of a country road and peaceful. It was our first time staying at a B&B which we were a little nervous about, however Carrie and Malcom quickly got rid of those feelings. They made our stay feel as though... More

I recently spent three nights at Briarcliffe Inn. This was a solo trip. If you look at the Inn's website you will see that they clearly state that it's located in a rural area. Rest assured, that it's still within easy access to just about everything in PEI. After a busy day of exploring the island you will welcome returning... More

A friend and I stayed at the Briarcliff Inn for three nights and loved the place. The house is beautiful and comfortable. The grounds are colorful, with scenic views in all directions. The Inn's keeper Carrie and Malcolm were welcoming, helpful and so kind at all times. Carrie is an amazing cook and the meals were delicious with generous portions... More

Carrie and Malcolm are absolutely wonderful hosts. We decided to find the place early in the day so it would be easier to find if it got dark. We really didn't expect to check in so early but they insisted. They were so accommodating. When we returned it was late and there was a note on the white board greeting... More

My daughter and myself stayed for two nights. Carrie and Malcolm are wonderful hosts. Helpful, kind and do all sorts of research for you if required! Carrie even packed us some drinks and energy bars as she knew were going on a long drive. So kind and thoughtful. The breakfasts are out of this world, two courses usually. Carrie is... More

My husband and I were looking for a special place for an overnight get away and Briarcliffe turned out to be perfect. We were warmly welcomed by Malcolm and Carrie and immediately felt comfortable in their beautiful historic home. The peaceful surroundings were just what we needed and the breakfast was great. I would highly recommend this place to anyone... More

The Briarcliffe Inn is a lovingly restored century farmhouse in the heart of rural Prince Edward Island. We are situated on 3 acres of property close to working farms and a red sand beach. Things to do in the area: take a short 5 minute walk to Salutation Cove to explore the tide pools or go for a swim; picnic at the historic Seacow Head Lighthouse; help feed our delightful free-range pigs; sample island jams & honeys and teas at breakfast; watch the magnificent Maritime sunsets from our deck; visit the Lower Bedeque Schoolhouse where Lucy Maud Montgomery taught or the Central Bedeque Museum.
