Detailed Reviews
We booked a spot in advance for a fun vacation weekend, but were shocked and disgusted to find that the weather called for rain during our stay. Fortunately, we had read about the non-refundable, non-transferable deposit policy stated very clearly on the campground's website, so there was no need to bother staff by calling about it.
Rather than forfeit this deposit (a whole $30), we decided to pack our rain jackets and go for it anyway. What followed can only be described as an extremely good and fun time at a beautiful park in a great location. Every site has its own picnic table and potable water hookup, which is especially rare for the low fees. Booking/check-in process was easy and pleasant. Lots of cool areas to explore and sit along the river. Just remember to bring bug spray; it's definitely in mosquito country. Will be back!

Staff was reasonable and easy to deal with, rates are below average in price, a little over $40 per nite and with water and 30amp! This is an attractive spot along the river with a nice view of the Agassiz bridge and river boats coming and going all day sturgeon fishing. Kids spent lots of time riding bikes and running around on the dikes. Great bang for the buck especially if you are close by. I notice the site has a boat launch to the river if you are into that. We live nearby and will frequent this spot when we need to kick up our feet by a campfire because of the great rates and relaxing setting.

Very accommodating campsite and friendly management!
We rolled in on our bikes after they were closed and they let us find a site and keep our food bags in a locked area.
Sites were clean and had water available.
The ground wasn’t too hard for tent pegs

My family reserved a campground in advance to vacation time we had booked. Leading up to the time we planned to attend the weather forecast changed dramatically so I called to inquire if it would be possible to change our booking to a different day. I was told "no". I asked if it was possible if we stayed at a time that was not busy and lots of space was available as to not take away business. I was rudely told, "no this is your time, come if you want". I said I understood and I'll let her know if we could make it or not.
My wife called and as she was respectfully asking for more information, Jamie, the employee interrupted her and hung up. We tried calling later to express that we don't understand why we are being treated so disrespectfully but no one would answer. I called on a different number and the phone was answered immediately. Once I said my name, Jamie began yelling at me immediately. All I did is calmy make an inquiry and to be treated like this is ridiculous.
They have our money already so I guess this is how this business treats people. It is quite unfortunate to have this as a representation of this place. I highly encourage everyone to look elsewhere if you want to not be treated like a punching bag.
