Whether you're sitting on the private and screened in porch of the downstairs room or eating breakfast, al fresco, you'll marvel at the quiet and beauty of your surroundings. Save a few crumbs to feed the chickens; and, you might even get to collect some eggs. This is a wonderful spot. It's an easy drive to Penticton and the "naramata... More

My partner and I spent one night at Glenoka after visiting friends in the area. We would have loved to stay longer. Brian and Elsa, both of local pioneer stock, are charming and welcoming hosts. Their historic home is lovely, warm, casual and comfortable. Our room ("Pear") was very spacious and well appointed, with a private screened porch where we... More

This B&B was thoroughly delightful - from the home to the location to the breakfast to the hosts, it was all special. The home was a gorgeous, well cared for mansion on a lovely piece of property. If you like being surrounded by huge old trees and a pear orchard, you'll love this place. Elsa's creative touches were everywhere and... More

I recently visited the Glenoka Farm B&B for the second time. Brian and Elsa are fabulous hosts, and their home was a great getaway for pure rest and relaxation. I love the Pear Room which has plenty of space, and the veranda was perfect to read a book, enjoy a glass of wine, and simply forget about work! Conversation is... More

This is the best family vacation I ever went on and it's all because of Brian and Elsa. First off the home is lovely and completely wheelchair accessible which is very hard to find especially in summerland! Secondly the property is gorgeous and tranquil and a real birder's paradise. There are marmots, quails, deer and lots of songbirds and woodpeckers... More

We (myself, husband, two children and grandparents) spent 1 night here in July 2013 and it was too short a stay. This year we returned without the grandparents to spend the 4 nights of our mini-vacation in the Okanagan. We love Elsa and Brian's home - in this day and age it's hard to come by a home that has... We had the pleasure of staying at Glenoka at the beginning of June this year, sadly only for one night. The room was beautiful, the breakfast delicious and our host, Brian, made us feel very welcome. Hope one day to return and stay for a longer period. John and Linda, Airdrie, Scotland

My friend and I stayed in the Pear Room, sadly only for one night. Elsa and Brian are the perfect hosts. The room is beautifully decorated, with a screened porch off the front. The bathroom is accessible if that is a need, complete with seat in shower and lowered sink. The property feels rural, but is in town, close to... More

The four of us stayed here in September on our trip around British Columbia. We stayed in some really good B&B`s with attentive hosts and fabulous food but none were better than Glenoka. The house is situated in a very quiet area of Summerland within easy walking distance of the Lake and comfortable driving distance of the town centre. Elsa... More
