We stumbled across La Sagesse on our first visit to Grenada in 2005 and, like many others, we return time and time again for the people, the atmosphere they create and the location.
We love the genuinely friendly, warm welcome which has always made us...More

It is very quiet with only 12 rooms. Not sure what you mean with suitable for a single female traveler. The owners are very helpful. It is quite remote 20 min by taxi to the main town also possible by bus during the week. Quite a hoot to go by bus. They have a great "associated" taxi driver that you can call and arrange tours quite easily with. He is an excellent guide and I really recommend him. If your stay is longer a rental car may be not a bad idea to be more flexible, but off the main roads can be quite an adventure.
