I enjoyed the Hibiscus Valley in for 5 days in bungalow #1 and had an amazing time. Transportation to and from the airport was smooth. The tours of Dominica were amazing. The food is fresh "farm-to-table" delicious. The rum punch is the best I've ever had.
This place was fantastic!!! Omari was the best host cook and everything !! I can’t wait to come back here it was the most peaceful experience of my life !! It was a beautiful space and close to airport .. I would recommend
My two sons and I stayed in two of the nature bungalow rooms with balconies for nine nights in March 2022. The bedrooms and adjoining shower rooms were adequate and rustic, and the nature around was stunning. The plants, insects , birds and the Pagua River were all amazing as was our friend, Spice , the hotel dog. The owner, Nora was attentive and helpful, and devised daily tours and treks for us, engaging experienced and friendly guides. We saw many areas of the island, as well as the fantastic whale watching trip, and my son's amazing trek with Omarie to the Boiling Lake. Christine gave us imaginative breakfasts, and Nigel cooked some tasty chicken and fish dinners. Being near Marigot Airport was an advantage, but in Hibiscus Valley Inn we felt totally immersed in the wonderful nature of Dominica.…
The rooms are really cozy and relaxing. Loved sitting outside in the hammock and relax listening to the nature. I liked having the river so close to the hotel so you could go for a dip whenever you wanted to. The common area is big enough for you to sit in private but still felt cosily. The staff makes both good drinks and food for you to enjoy during your stay. The tours we went on where fun and the staff that came with us made the experience even better. I will definitely stay there the next time I come to Dominica!
I recently stayed at Hibiscus Valley Inn for a week and I must say that it was one of the most relaxing stay at any resort that I had. The natural beauty of the lactation with all the trees and flowers was refreshing to view and wake up to. The staff here was so helpful and courteous especially Omahry who liaise with customers and Nigel who is always available for help and assistance when needed. I will definitely stay here again when I visit Dominica.
We booked at the Hibiscus Valley Inn at the last minute, after we had issues with our intended flight out, which meant we were staying two extra nights in Dominica. We picked the Hibiscus Valley Inn for our last night in Dominica because it was close to the airport, had good online reviews, and looked pretty in pictures. We were very pleasantly surprised with how beautiful the property was and how hospitable and helpful the staff were. Nigel cooked us a delicious meal (we had the fish and chicken which came with an amazing salad and fresh watermelon) and made some delicious rum punch drinks. He also treated us to a shot of rum. In the morning he drove us to the airport which was a quick and easy trip… much shorter than our prior trips to Roseau to and from the airport. We certainly recommend the Hibiscus Valley Inn for the food and proximity to the airport, but the whole place was also beautiful. The rooms are cozy and completely surrounded by colorful plants and nature. Thanks very much for a lovely stay!…
Waking up to a peaceful environment and the beautiful luscious sight of nature, the relaxing sound of the river and the extremely delicious meals prepared by Omari and Nigel was enough to make me missed my flight. Not forgetting that mixed drink "sex by the river" by Ricky. Big up y'all selves. Thank you for making my stay a wonderful one! From the welcoming and pleasant staff, the extremely delicious meals, the baddest mixed drinks to the comfortable bungalow apartment.
We were upgraded to a room that had air conditioning...that didnt work which is why we got the room. This meant all the rest of the room was that of a better room...Great! We loved the relaxed atmosphere. Nigel our driver and chef and maker of great rums...amazing person! He also took us on a tour so he became our driver for the day for a reasonable price. A very safe driver. Food we had was great and again, good value. The coffee was STRONG...but delicious! We got samples fo some of the rums and enjoyed trying them...especially the chocolate one! Wish we had bought some to take back to UK! We really enjoyed spending time here.
I were double charged on my card from Booking.com No Wi-Fi routers or connections along the property. Just at the main building and is very slow. Fan on the ceiling is full of dust and bedroom has an old poor linen quality. Certainly beautiful. Poorly management and maintenance.
