Yaneisy and Yoel were practically not there. Communication via small letters under the door which is unpleasant if you want to have your taxi confirmed.
I went with my family and we felt unattended.

On the plus size both Yaneisy and Yoel are reallyl friendly. The language barrier with Yoel is big if you do not speak Spanish but easily broken with friendliness. Rooftop terrace is cool. Yaneisy is a very busy business woman taking care of housing, a restaurant and others...

What we did not like is the cleanliness of the room (roaches), the beds are not made, the dead bugs not cleaned unless asked and the airco and fridge make a lot of noise, trashcan not emptied which is a pain when you cannot flush toilet paper. The worst we experienced in Cuba...

Furthermore we paid for a taxi with airco until Playa Larga which was not the case. We knew we had to switch cars in Havana but going from a good minivan into an old Peugeot 405 without airco. However drivers were honest a I lost my wallet and we were able to recuperate the wallet the next day.

With another friend, we spent 4 nights in Yaneisy's house: that was definitely the best stay of our trip in Cuba. Yaneisy and Yoel were so nice with us, even if we didn't booked a room before our arrival, with super good breakfasts and excellent advices of what to do in the area (they even helped us to book another casa in the next city as well as the transportation).
Thank you again for everything!

We stayed in casa one night and it was the best experience we had in the whole 11 days of our trip through Cuba. Yaneisy and Yoel are great hosts. They organised us lovely horse riding as soon as we entered the house and organised us parking for our rent a car. As we are not spanish speaking travellers it was very helpful to us that Yaneisy spoke so good english, which is still very rare in Cuba. We got all instruction about Vinales and all general information about life in Cuba. Casa is walking distance to the center of Vinales. I would definitely stay once again in this Casa if I come again.

We loved our stay at the Villa, and would definitely recommend it. It was probably the best staying of our whole two weeks trip in Cuba. Yaneisy is very kind and she has a passion for plants (I believe she is a biologist) therefore the whole place has plenty of plants in the internal garden, which made our stay more enjoyable. We barely met Yoel unfortunately. We had an early departure (6am) for Trinidad and they were so kind to arrange our breakfast so early. Inexpensive when compared to the other place we stayed in Vinales (Casa Jean Pierre), unfortunately we only spent here on night. Another positive point is the location, quite central (5-10 min walk to the main square) but relatively quiet when compared to other central locations, as the road is off the main road to Pinar del Rio and less trafficked. Also, the rooms are more in the inside rather than facing the street, which makes them even more quiet. We found this casa on suggestion of Lonely Planet guide and confirm that it is possible to organize tours there. At the time we went, they had horse-back riding tours, as well as several hiking tours. We did the horseback riding (a great experience!) in the Valle Palmarito and a Sunset Hiking tour in Valle del Silencio, which I highly reccommed. The guide (Emilio) was very experienced on the local flora and fauna and very fun to spend time with! If I went back to Vinales, I would definitely stay at this Casa again.

Yaneisy and Yoel are friendly hosts who can help arrange all excursions. With only two nights in Vinals we got the most out of the visit thanks to them. Day one, Yaneisey arranged so we could go horsebackriding just one hour after we arrived. It was a fantastic tour that lasted for five hours and we visited sigar and coffee farms, tasted rom, visit caves and went swimming. Day two Yoel drove us around in the valley for sightseeing and we visited more caves and the valleys hotel with swimmingpool. They also arranged transport from Vinales to Trinidad so for us. They made the stay very comfortable and easy.

The rooms at Yaneisy and Yoel are comfortable and clean. Private rooms with bathroom, safe, air condittion and a well-stocked fridge with drinks and price list. Chairs in front of the house and a lovely roof terrace where you can enjoy the view, or even eat dinner if you like. Yaneisy make the most beautiful meals and the best pina colada !!!
Thank NinaHJ
