Travelers' Choice
Our house is located at the entrance of Vinales. The house has two independent, air-conditioned double rooms, each with a private bathroom providing hot water 24 hours a day. Relax on the rocking chairs on the porch, watch TV in the living room or admire the view of Vinales' mountains from the rooftop while Ana prepares a typical Cuban meal to your taste.

I was in Viñales in March 2020 with a friend, and our experience at Ana's and Dayron's Casa was really great! The house was fantastic, with a lot of space and great conditions. The shower pressure and temperature were excellent (which felt quite nice after 4 days in Havana having cold water showers) and there was Wi-Fi inside the house - which was quite convenient. Ana and Dayron were very helpful navigating us through all the activities we could do in Vinales and their contacts for the taxis and tours were all certificated and great professionals! From our experience we recommend doing the walking tour in Vale del Silencio with Miguel as the tour guide (Miguel works with Ana and Dayron) and a day in Cayo Jutías (favourite beach all across Cuba). Many thanks to Ana and Dayron for having received us so well and having made our experience in Vinales memorable :)

this one of the best casas i've stay at in Cuba. The room is huge and extremely clean, the water pressure in the shower is truly exceptional in cuba - the best showers I had in 2 weeks of 5 different casas, quite beautiful location - 8 min walking from the center, huge breakfast, and above all - Ana and Dairon and the rest of the family are so welcoming, helpful and super nice - they make you feel as if you are part of the family and not just someone who stay at their place.

The casa was very clean and spacious and had internet spot. We particularly appreciated the view from the terrace that gives you a great view of the Valley. Joel and Ana treated us very well and they were very helpful with our questions. They even cleaned something we had left outside the room for us even though it was not our intention to ask them to clean it for us! The breakfast was also great. The casa is a bit far from the centre of Vinales but the view is worth it and they would also happily pick you up from the Viazul station if necessary. We would totally recommend the Casa. Nevertheless, their daughter recommended us a nearby restaurant, which turned out to be quite an expensive restaurant for Cuban standard. It may have been a good restaurant but we did not try it in the end.

We booked in to Casa Ana Belkis y Dayron for 2 days initially but we loved Vinales so much, and staying at Ana and Joel’s that we extended for 2 days. Our Spanish was terrible but Joel and Ana did everything to cater to our needs. They organised tours for us which were amazing ... to the stunning beach at Cayo Jutias, and a horse ride through the tobacco farms with our own guide, a local vaquero who had the greatest horses for a rookie horse rider! The room is beautiful with airconditioning and fans and a lovely modern bathroom, plus a bar fridge and the best thing was the view over the valley. Breakfast for 5cuc was beautiful - fresh juice, ham, cheese, eggs and bread and butter. Highly recommend this Casa and Vinales.

Ana’s Casa was the best we stayed at during our 2 week trip to Cuba. The Casa is set at the top of the small town of Vinales. Because of its unique location, it offers some beautiful views of the mogotes which you’d struggle to find elsewhere. We sat out on the veranda and enjoyed these on the rocking chairs, as the way seems to be in Cuba! The room itself was modern and very clean. We had two double beds with an en-suite bathroom. The room also contained a hairdryer and an international plug - both very useful for catering to foreign tourists and a nice surprise. The room had a modern air conditioning unit and also a fridge conveniently filled with water bottles and beer, available to buy. Other convenient services are also on offer, such as being able to book tours through the family, organising taxi collectivos and laundry etc. We took advantage of having breakfast at the Casa a couple of mornings as well as dinner. Both times the amount of food was plentiful - way too much for us! For breakfast the family offers a lovely spread of fruit juice, tea/coffee, bread rolls, cheese, jam, eggs (cooked as you like) and a huge plate of fresh fruit. For dinner you can choose from a variety of meat or fish which is then served with rice, a soup of some sort (we had black beans one night and chickpeas the second), salad, cassava fries and fritters or potatoes. The dinner was just delicious, in particular the Ropa Vieja!!!! I would go as far as to say it was the best meal we had in Cuba and if a restaurant served me this meal in the UK i would have been very very happy. Finally, aside from the very comfortable rooms and the delicious food, the warmth of Ana’s family made the overall stay especially enjoyable. Dayron (the son) spoke very good English whilst with Ana & her husband we communicated with very basic Spanish - they were very patient with us and we managed to have some fun conversations. All the family are intent on making your stay as pleasant and comfortable as possible and we really enjoyed staying with such a kind and friendly family. Thank you for having us Ana & Juan.
