In the beautiful valley of Viñales, we found this lovely place to stay. Yanet (the owner) takes care of about anything for you. From horseback riding to renting bikes. The rooms are a bit small (tight), and also the shower isn't always hot, but for the rest it is quite a pleasant stay. Breakfast and dinner are optional and recommended.

Viñales is like a postcard of nature and with all the colorful houses, it's amazingly beautiful. This casa was really nice, we had a very colorful cabin with 3 beds, a big shower room (the water stream was a little low), air condition and a refrigerator. Not enough electrical outlets in the room. The casa has a lovely rooftop where they serve breakfasts and dinners. Alexander was very nice, but most of the time Janet was our focal point. The breakfast was great. The dinner was very impressive in terms of quantity, but I didn't feel so good afterwards. The main problem was the mattresses - in our room there were 2 queen size beds and a single bed. The only normal mattress was in the single bed. The other 2 beds had awful mattresses - like papers. When we asked to replace them, Janet said it's not possible. Their dog looked friendly and nice, and in the first day it was ok, but the second day when he waved his tail and I bent down to caress it, it suddenly caught my hand and bit it so hard. Luckily it is a small dog, so the damage wasn't so bad. Janet claims it never happened before, but I advise you to stay away. Janet got us a driver to Trinidad, which we thought would take us all the way to there,, since we paid a higher price, but we found out that we had to change cars in the middle like all of them.

First of all, if you visit Cuba you must visit Vinales. The place has a pure charm! The Casa is simple but clean and has everything that is needed but the family is charming and very nice! They helped us with everything that we needed and always did everything with such a smile and a purpose to help and assist. We had a pleasant stay there and we highly recommend staying there as well. The meals are highly recommended in addition! Better then going out to restaurants.

We stayed two nights with Yanet & Alexander. There were nice hosts. She helped us in getting bicycles and in arranging for her brother-in-law Dariel to take us on a nice hike. The room was comfortable and the location very easy for walking around & riding bikes. Eating dinner on the rooftop was fun.

Yanet and Alexander will make you feel at home. It was a pleasure to stay with their family and Vinales centre is just a couple of meters from there. Nice atmosphere and Mary is the best chef in Cuba (seriously!). Try the chicken and the lobster!Cheers!
