It's Cuba- there is no wifi in casa particulars. You have to go to wifi areas in towns, but, before you do this, you have to queue for ages at an ETSECA office and buy cards with the wifi user information. You can't just join onto wifi like in other places. To be fair, the ETSECA office in Vinales had the shortest queues of any place we went in Cuba, and the wifi zone is about a 5 minute stroll from Casa Ridel. Hope this helps.
