We could not have been made more welcome than at this lovely casa. The room was delightful and the family running it were too. There are only 4 or 5 rooms, and so this is a much more of a family experience than some casas, which can have 20+ rooms. We were there for 2 nights early December 2019 and had a lovely three course dinner for 10CUC on the first night. We can not recommend this place highly enough ! Thank you !

We arrived in the afternoon, having been directed the simple instructions from the town square just half a mile away, and we overshot the small turning on the road that faces the drop dead gorgeous mountains ahead.. we accidentally went on for a little further, finding Nenitos Casa & pizzeria. A man grabbed my case and took us to AnaLuisas place, he turned out to Joel, a very nice man who refused our offer of a beer to thank him & he went back.. Leaving us with AnaLuisa and her daughters.. Just a small tip, there's a street sign that mentions three casas, Jorge Y AnaLuisas did not seem to be on that board, but that's where they are. You'll likely see a nice looking goat tethered up just there.

We felt so safe, cosy & secure and happy already upon arrival, and were greeted by this lovely lady who has a cheeky twinkle in her eye. She gave us a chilled mango juice upon arrival & we sorted the forms out etc.. The casa is kept clean & tidy at all times for guests, the pool looked lush, I have no idea why we didn't go in, we're both fools!! The room was so good, clean, comfortable, air con.. Great shower, great bathroom design.. Such a great vibe all round. Breakfast was fantastic! Coffee, fresh juice, fresh fruit, a pancake, eggs how you like them, a ton of bread & jams.. A real feast! I recommend if you come to stay here to ask AnaLuisa if she can make you dinner at least one night of your stay.. Also the cost of water, drinks, some toasted sandwiches, were not the usual extortionate prices, very reasonable bill at the end. We met some of the family, extremely nice people.. Other guests were all very pleasant. The location is perfect. I'm so glad we got to go & stay at this particular casa. Viñales feels a bit like Macondo to me somehow. It's not a grubby town full of hustlers though, which is some relief after our week in Old Havana! Thank you AnaLuisa for our lovely time here, if we ever manage to make it back to Cuba we will certainly come to stay with you again. If you ever find yourself in the UK, feel free to come and stay with us for a few days..! Cheers.

~ oh yes I forgot to say! Joel turned out to be the owner of Nenitos casa & pizzeria..! We had a meal there one night too. Some of his family (we think) had a celebration meal there & despite the obvious language barrier, included us, because everyone here is so bloomin' friendly.. We found soulful Cuba indeed!!

Chilled is the word!

This has got to be one of the best casa's in Vinales with big double rooms separate to the main house, a small pool, bar and dining area. The hosts are so welcoming and the location is very central, just a short walk from the centre of Vinales.
Ana Luisa recommended and booked us onto a local guided walking tour for the day after we arrived, it was so good and really helped us to understand the area and get to know what it was like to live in Vinales.
Breakfast was amazing, a variety of fruit, pancakes, breads and eggs however you like them. The mango juice is so delicious. Ana Luisa even made us a packed lunch for our day trip on the beach as it's tricky to get hold of food to go in Cuba.
We booked in for dinner with them one night as the food was always so delicious, it was one of the best meals in Cuba, 3 courses of locally sourced, homemade food.
The pool was very welcoming after a day exploring and you can also arrange bike rental and taxi's through the casa if required to help you explore a bit further out of town however we rented biked from the main town.
We couldn't recommend them more!

we stay for a couple of nights in order to explore the vinales valley. Our host were very friendly and helpful and the daughter speaks fluent english which was great. Our room was large and airy and the house itself is close to everything.
Breakfast is a delight and there is pleny of it. We ate supper one evening and the food was of a very high standard. My wife ate lobster and myself chicket asnd the quality and price were exceptional.
There is a small pool although we did not use it and local reatuarnts are within a couple of minutes walk.

My stay at this casa was absolutely fantastic. The place was clean and comfortable, owners were super friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to provide everything we needed which made our stay in their home very pleasant and enjoyable. Nothing was trouble, when we wanted to go on a trip, they organized it for us....They even provided breakfast at 5am for us. And the food they provided was heavenly! Also served in a beautiful area, in a very friendly manner. The best home stay we had in Cuba!

The rooms were basic, but had everything we needed and were spotlessly clean. There was always hot water for the shower and the location was very good - a few minutes walk from the centre of Vinales. The highlight, though, was definitely our hostess who was amazing - incredibly helpful in arranging trips for us and a special meal on our second evening. I can't think there could be anywhere better to stay...

Vinales is a vibrant little town with everything a tourist needs to enjoy the stunning nearby scenery.
Casa Jorge and Anna Luisa is very well placed on the edge of town to help you enjoy this scenery while also feeling part of the local community. Town life goes around you. Plenty of smiling locals walk passed and greet you if you sit a while on the front porch.
But inside further hospitality awaits. We recommend enjoying evening meals with Ana Luisa and her family as well as the sumptuous breakfasts. If you want to try communicating in Spanish your host will be patient and instructive.
But our hosts were extremely convivial in any language.
The accommodation is delightful, secluded and has everything you need . There is a small pool to enjoy to on hot afternoons as well.
We didn't hesitate to give this Casa five stars. If we could have rated it at six stars we would have done.

My sister and I spent 2 nights at Casa Jorge y Ana Luisa and we had an amazing time. Our room was very comfortable and we enjoyed our time in the garden with the swimming pool and bar.
Ana Luisa is a fabulous host, she prepared us amazing food for a very reasonable price.
We had an amazing time in Vinales and highly recommend it to anyone.

This Casa has got to be my favourite accommodation on the whole island. Ana and all her family are so very kind and caring, nothing is too much trouble. If you are looking for a authentic experience of Cuba this is the place for you. We stayed two nights and enjoyed it tremendous and the food was delicious for both dinner and breakfast. The room we stayed in was so clean you could even see your reflection from the shiny floors.

Set back from the main drag is this very pleasant Casa run by Ana Luisa - a real character. Our room was a good size, with AC, fridge, safe and a good sized bathroom. The room had a little patio where we could watch Viñales life go by and enjoy the chickens, goat (Lola), and small pigs who grazed next door.

At the back of the Casa is the dining area set in a pleasant patio with a small swimming pool. Breakfast is very enjoyable and Ana and her small team did an admirable job of providing it on our final morning during an electrical outage which affected the whole town. We also had a good meal here one evening.

After Havana, we found Viñales to be an oasis of calm, and it turned out to be a favourite from our whole trip.
