Superb in every way, from the effortless hospitality of Margaret and family to the cosy accomodation and the beautiful setting. Breakfast sets you up for the day , then you return to a lovely warm welcome. Every aspect of Llwydiarth Fawr is excellent.

A wonderful place run by lovely people! ... tea and biscuits on arrival was an unexpected delight in beautiful surroundings. I had a lovely nights sleep and breakfast was exceptional. ....the main difference between this and chain hotels is that proprietors here genuinely care!

My goodness, Llwydiarth Fawr is the best by a mile! We have stayed there on many occasions, and it is sheer bliss. Such a grand house which is luxury itself, but so comfortable and down to earth, because Margaret, Richard, David and Glyn are the best of hosts. I can't give praise enough. Margaret's breakfasts are heavenly, and they are such warm and welcoming people. What more could you possibly want?! Needless to say, I would not stay anywhere else on Angelesey. Try it, you will love it! Thank you, Claire from Leek in Staffordshire Moorlands.

We stayed overnight before going on the ferry to Ireland. All I can say is BRILLIANT. I agree with all the previous guests and will say that when our trip comes up next year, we will not hesitate returning to this beautiful farm house and maybe add a few extra days to tour around.
Thank you very much Margaret and David.

On arrival Margaret and David welcomed us and asked if we would like a drink after the journey. Decaf Tea was not a problem and we where shown into the lounge. David lit the fire and tea with some fantastic Bara Brith arrived very shortly. What a wonderful start to our short stay.
The room was spacious and well appointed, plentiful supply of everything you could need and more. Nice touches such as fresh apples, chocolates and proper coffee for a cafatiere to name a few. The house, rooms and service truely deserve the 5 star rating.
As others have said you are spoilt for choice at breakfast and spoilt by your hosts. This one I would rate as one of the best places we have stayed in, look through my previous reviews if you want to see what it rates against.
The house is an old world gem and truely a credit to the owners and how they have cared for it. Sat in the lounge pheasants wandered around the patio, truely was sublime.
Thanks for a wonderful stay, looking forward to going again.

Stayed for 3 nights and were very well looked after. Very nice room, modern decor, with comfortable bed and bathroom with bath and shower, plus tv, and coffee and tea making facilities. We slept well in the comfortable bed.
Huge spread of fresh fruit, including strawberries and raspberries, and cereals etc for breakfast. All on the largest Welsh dresser I have ever seen.
Cooked breakfast was available, but we declined, I hope not insulting the charming lady running the b&b along with her son. The toast was splendid, crusts removed, and we had super soft butter and jam with it.
The proprietor insisted on getting us breakfast at 7am before we left for the ferry, when I am sure she would rather have stayed in bed. Much appreciated. Would happily return.

My wife's brother had relocated to Amlwch, in Anglesey, and my wife desired a visit to see him and his family of one wife and two dogs!. A place that would not be out of place in a Harry Potter film!. We attempted to select a route from our location near Liskeard, Cornwall, but the AA appeared to try to ignore our enquiry. Not to be deterred, I appointed my wife as chief navigator, (First mistake!) and we set off intending to take the 'Scenic' route going, and the mainly motorway coming back, (Second mistake!) We then needed to secure accommodation, so good old Google, and up popped this choice. Now, it's not so much a case of Deja Vu, but you know when you get that feeling, that you get sometimes? Well, considering this choice was purely chosen at random, we were so impressed at our first contact with them, that, that proved to be extra motivation for us to arrive at our advised timing. (Sometimes, it is best not to advise!) 11 hours later we arrived! (We really weren't fussed, but that was longer than we had anticipated) Anyway, easy to find, and plenty of parking. So, suffice to say, Margaret and her family are genuine, warm, caring people who ensured we were well provided for during our stay. Our room and amenities were more than enough for us and we enjoyed quiet, comfortable and relaxing nights. The breakfasts were certainly 5 star. Loads of fresh fruit and yoghurts, and so many cereals that I lost count, and when it came to a breakfast? well! The full Monty!. The day we left Margaret and family were busy preparing for a wedding in their family. But we still felt cared for. should my wife's brother decide to stay and we return this would be our preferred choice. We wanted for nothing. A lovely, genuine caring family determined to make anyone's stay memorable. They achieved that with us easily.

We have just returned from our latest visit to Llwydiarth Fawr, only this time we took our grandchildren (aged 9 & 3) with us for the first time.
Once again, we were treated to the same wonderful welcome and hospitality from Margaret, Richard and David, which we greatly appreciated. Our grandchildren took the place to heart immediately, and there were no computer games played all weekend!
We love our visits to Llwydiarth Fawr, and will try to get back ahead of our next scheduled visit around Christmas.
