We stayed here as it was a good base for Snowdon and Portmeirion and other coastal towns. The location is on a small industrial estate but it was quiet and near to the town and supermarkets. Rooms are basic but (importantly) very clean. The staff (as ever) were both nice and efficient.
Stayed at the travelodge for 2 nights. Basic but you get what you pay for. Clean, decent shower, comfortable bed. Plenty of parking. Good distance to Porthmadog and a great cafe 2 minutes away with great breakfast. Quick check in and friendly staff. Extra teabags, coffee etc in reception to save asking for them. Very small tv in the room but who goes away to watch tv! Would definitely stay again
This is a perfect example of a Travelodge hotel. Very resonably priced, clean (especially in present times), comfortable room, free parking, well positioned for town, near to three supermsrkets and on top of this helpful pleasant staff. On arrival we were greeted by Natalie who was welcoming and could not have been more helpful. Ideal for Portmeiron.
We stayed in this hotel or motel is probably a more accurate description as it was conveniently located nearby Portmeirion. The rooms are basic and clean but very expensive for what it offers. One can only assume it is near the tourist village of Portmeirion and it is subject to high demand. There are no catering facilities on site, one can order a breakfast box to eat in your room. There is a drinks and snack vending machine at reception and reception is not usually manned so one has to call a member of staff by phone. The hotel is located on the edge of town on an industrial estate and there is a nearby supermarket. There is ample free car parking on site but it was almost full on each of the 3 nights we stayed there. This hotel chain is normally great value for money but this one is very expensive due to the high number of tourists wanting to visit Portmeirion and the steam railway. I would recommend to look at other hotels or B & B located in the town centre. …
