10 years ago I was on a press trip and I had 1 overnight here. It was beautiful and cozy, I still remember the kindness of the householder. She was very nice to us and the breakfast was super. And you find good scotch whisky inside your room every night!

On first impression, we thought we may have taken a wrong turning, as we drove up a long track to reach Bealach. But that's the beauty of here, it is tranquil, quiet, and well worth visiting. The friendly hosts have a really good balance with guests, we were welcomed with a tray of tea & home-baked biscuits, and left to...

Everything was perfection. The mile and half rough track was fun and fine to navigate in daylight and at night. Hilary and Jim were very welcoming and knowledgeable about the area and the wildlife. Dinner was cooked to perfection and there were choices so our 11 year old was able to choose something to her liking too. We missed the...

Beautiful country house, situated high above the loch, surrounded by woodland, sheep & birdsong. The track through the wood was easy to navigate & lovely to know we were heading off the beaten track (& not staying over on the A82 roadside with hoards of tourists from coaches piling into the same hotel 😳). We were greeted by Hilary, who...

What can we say that hasn't already been said by others? We knew it was going to be a great place when we saw the amusing and encouraging signs as we tentatively negotiated the mile and a half rough track for the first time! Hilary and Jim are wonderful hosts and Hilary is an exceptional chef. The breakfasts were amazing...

Nestled away in a delightful tranquil setting just off Loch Linnhe and within easy reach of Glen Coe we found this three bed room hotel ideal for the start of our mini-tour of the Highlands. Our room had great views, We enjoyed hearty breakfasts and had truly first rate dinners on three of our four nights stay. And for good...

Lovely location, excellent hosts, great food, what more could you want (just don't try to get up the track in your Ferrari or similar). A great place to spend a day or two, you won't regret it. There's plenty to keep you occupied in the local area and lots of wildlife to view, you won't get bored

We stayed at Bealach Country House for 3 nights using it as a base to discover Glen Coe. Arriving at Bealach House was itself a little adventure following the amusing signs along the forestry track. We were welcomed upon arrival with lovely tea and cake and shown to our very comfortable ensuite room. Dinner was a delicous mix of local...

We have stayed at Bealach several times. On this occasion we could only stay for one night which was a pity, as we would have preferred to stay for a few days. As always we were greeted by Hilary, shown to our rooms, then given tea/coffee and home made flapjacks and biscuits. Dinner was excellent, as always, and was followed...
