What a fantastic venue. Looks great and the dining room has view that competes with the best out there. Bad points were the mattress in the room (27) was that bad it ruined what should have been a good experience. Food was excellent. Could have been a little cleaner in the room but a nice place. Sadly would not go...

The rooms of Stonefield Castle are all renovated in a modern style. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and have plenty of space. The public areas of the Castle are darker and more of the period the Castle was built (I believe Stonefield was built as a manor house in 1837.) It's this clash of old vs. new that detracts slightly....

This was a xmas gift from our grandchildren. Two nights B & B with dinner on first evening along with a bottle of wine in our room. Having travelled for most of the day we were slightly exhausted to arrive at our destination, but the welcome we received at reception soon perked us up and we were ready for dinner....

We were able to get a last-minute booking at a very good rate, and had a wonderful room with a view across Loch Fyne. The room seemed to have been very recently refurbished, and was very comfortable. We enjoyed a short walk around the marked paths along the shoreline, with a helpful map borrowed from reception. Breakfast was served in...

Had a lovely relaxing weekend here. Got to be one of the best rooms I've had for views. Got a deal from 5pm as a Xmas present and have to say I'm so glad we changed it from one night in a Macdonalds hotel to two nights here for only £10 extra. Lovely walks round the grounds and Tarbert. Friendly...

We visited Stonefield Castle for Valentines day and was not dissapointed. This is a beautiful grand hotel with lovely bedrooms and very nice staff. We had a Valentines offer with 3 course dinner and breakfast, must say it was lovely, food was gorgeous and breakfast was also. Breakfast was made better by sitting in the dining room overlooking the beautiful...

Just returned from another fantastic weekend at the beautiful Stonefield Castle. What more can I say? Stonefield doesn’t need a spa to be the most relaxing place you could visit! We stayed in room 24, which has beautiful views over the loch. Loved the new soft furnishings and doggy doorstop! Food and atmosphere perfect, as usual. Cocktails were great! We...
