Very accommodating and welcoming. Kindly allowed us to arrive early due to awful rainy weather. Stored away our bikes for us. The rooms were spotlessly clean with lovely ensuite shower. Lovely linen and comfy beds. Great breakfast. Brilliant value place to stay in Tarbert. Would def recommend. Thanks a lot both

Southcliffe bed and breakfast was really good. Cloose to the harber where the pubs and restaurants are but in a nice quit street. Good bed, good shower, good breakfast. Nice people. Tarbert itself is small but nice , in a short distance from the ferry to Islay.

We received a very warm welcome and Margaret helped us very much with the ferry to Islay. The rooms were extremely clean and cosy and with a beautiful view over Tarbert. Breakfast was perfect. Both full scottish breakfast and Porridge. A range of fresh fruit was offered too. One of our best stays during our 11 days in Scotland!

We spent the night here when cycling round CalMac's Five Ferries route and were glad we did so. We were warmly welcomed and given the ample main bedroom, with a double, two singles and a generous en suite. The beds were comfortable; and (as important) our bikes were stored away safely overnight. Breakfast set us up for the hilly route...

Margaret and Mike were perfect hosts. Very friendly and very knowledgable about the area. The room was very nice with modern amenities. The shower was really nice. Did a few side trips to Crinan and Kilmartin. Breakfast was perfect. The town itself is a fishing village with a couple good eating places.

Stayed in Room 1 for one night during a cycle tour through Arran and the Cowel peninsular. Plenty of space, generous sized en suite, comfortable bed, good view over the town. Mike and Margaret welcoming and friendly. Secure and undercover storage for our bicycles. Look forward to returning.
