I had to work in the Argyll area and coming back to the Dunivaig after a long hard day was always a warm and comforting experience. The rooms were comfy with gorgeous views, very good facilities and very clean. Lovely breakfast too. The best feature of the Dunivaig for me was the hospitality and kindness of Louise, Peter and the...

Stayed here overnight - wish it was longer! The owners are very friendly and their B&B is so clean and lovely. We had an early ferry so didn't get to enjoy their cooked breakfast but was given a huge pack lunch to get us thru! Definitely a must if your in Tarbert!

We stayed at Dunivaig for one night. We arrived with a late ferry, but it was not a problem for the owners. It was a nice and clean room, comfortable bed and a stunning view over the harbour. When we spotted a seal the owners handed us binoculars so we could get a closer look. The breakfast was good as...

We flew into Glasgow, rented a car,and drove to Tarbert so we could catch the ferry the next morning to Islay. This inn is about a mile out of town, but it's worth the distance. We had a beautiful room with windows galore overlooking the Loch Fyne. Welcome to Scotland, for sure! Our innkeeper gave us suggestions for dinner, and...

Stayed here with my family for one night last weekend. Excellent facilities. Lovely warm welcome, Louise made us feel very welcome and we all really enjoyed our stay, like a home from home. Thank-you. Amazing views, beautiful part of the world, would highly recommend and would love to go back. Helped to relive some childhood memories of family holidays spent...

Nice big light room with an amazing view on the sea. Very friendly welcome! Easy distance to restaurants in the center of Tarbert. Ferries to Islay (from Kennacraig) are just 10 minutes away (car drive). Would definitely choose this B&B again if we were in the area.

Stayed here for two nights last week. Very comfortable quiet double ensuite room overlooking the sea with a beautiful view.Everything spotlessly clean and a very pleasant owner. About a fifteen minute walk into the village. The only cooked option for breakfast is kippers, although the Continental breakfast provided is quite extensive and nicely done. You have to order the night...

I recently paid a pilgrimage visit to Dunivaig en route from Glasgow to Carradale. I wanted to re-live the memories of living there as a young teenager. My parents bought the property in 1957 and had it as a holiday house for 25 years. It is a fabulous place with exquisite views and really should be rated the best house...

We stayed at Dunivaig for one night. A lovely old house with wonderful views of Loch Fyne. Our hostess was wonderfully helpful and welcomed us warmly. We had a spacious and comfortable room with a fantastic seaview. The breakfast was very tasty and enjoyable.

Having been stranded on the mainland thanks to a broken down ferry we were offered 1 night's accommodation at the Dunivaig before an alternative ferry to Islay. What a piece of luck! We were given an amazing, octagonal, wood panelled room overlooking the water, complete with lovely furry bathrobes in which to take the few steps across the hall the...
