The best b&b we have ever stayed in! Such lovely rooms, excellent service and a wonderful breakfast! We were even able to dry our tent in an outbuilding! The rooms are spacious with excellent bathrooms, comfortable, cosy and warm on an unseasonably chilly August night. A really delightful place.

Stayed here a few weeks ago with group of cyclists, agree finding it was a trek but once there lovely comfortable and without a shadow of a doubt the best breakfast at an overnight stop I've ever had. Freshly cooked dropped scones and lovely variety of whatever you wished for. Would recommend without any doubt.

We stayed on night but could have stayed longer. A lovely comfortable room with en suite with tea and coffee and toiletries. Perfect location to walk into Haltwhistle which is a lovely town with lots of history, the first public market if I remember correctly. The breakfast was top notch and with a huge selection, no chance you would go... More

We only planned to stay one night but it would have been wonderful to stay longer. The hosts were fabulous...a perfect mix of talkative, helpful, and professional. The rooms are in a converted barn and are done up very nicely. We walked to the B&B from Haltwhistle after spending the afternoon walking Hadrian's Wall and it was a delightful way... More

The most difficult part is trying to find the farmhouse - it is off the beaten track. Once you are there though, the host is very welcoming and the room I had was in a converted barn, which was huge. Nicely done up with modern conveniences while not losing the traditional farm feel about the place. Modern en-suite bathroom with... More

A group of stayed here after day 2 of the HCW. We had two rooms between 7, really well appointed, nice touches and a lovely hot shower. Secure storage for our bikes and lovely breakfast in the morning. Only roughy a mile off the route and definitely worth a stay. Thinking of going back with my family.

A warm, friendly but unobtrusive welcome. Lovely accommodation, fantastic breakfast. Impossible to rate this lovely B and B highly enough. We will definitely return. The farm is brilliantly located for exploring the best of Hadrian's Wall. Fantastic walking and cycling country, and 4 miles is salmon fishing which we intend to try on our next visit.

Stayed two nights last week to walk a 22 miles stretch of Hadrian's Wall. Spacious, clean and comfortable rooms in a quiet location, with a really excellent farmhouse breakfast to fortify us. John very kindly chauffeured us out to our starting point at Birdoswald Fort and Linda then picked us up from Haltwhistle railway station on our return from Chesters... More

We stayed at the farm one night during our trip along Hadrian's wall. What a lovely place. The accommodations were very nice. The rooms are separate from the main house which gives added privacy. The room was nice and spacious. Many places we stayed, were very small rooms. This room had a large bedroom and an equally large bathroom attached... More
