David and Christine are very welcoming. The twin rooms are comfortable, and have shower cubicles. They are well-appointed, with all the necessities, including tea/coffee making items, hair-dryer, hot-water bottle (we didn't need that), daily fresh milk and cake in the evening - a lovely touch. And breakfasts to die for, with a choice of Full English variants, or continental. The... More

This is a perfect B&B for Hadrians Wall. We were shown to a lovely twin room with stunning views over the countryside. David & Christine made us feel very welcome and reserved us a table at the local inn for our evening meal. The next morning after a full English breakfast we walked across the lawn, over the stile and... More

My husband spoke to Christine and David a few times before we went on our break to this b and b. What a very friendly couple they are. They go the extra mile. Tea, coffee and slice of cake in your room. We stayed 4 nights and had a slice of cake each day. They booked a meal for us... More

We stayed here for a night, using it as a base for a walk along the wall to see the famous 'Sycamore Gap.' We arrived and were welcomed by David & Christine who were very friendly and showed us to our room where tea & coffee, fresh milk and cake awaited us (A lovely touch). We walked down to the... More

A wonderful welcome as we arrived. Cake and biscuits were brought up to our large cosy, warm rooms to accompany our tea and coffee. For the first time in 15yrs, the local pub was closed and we were provided with a return drive to the next pub 4 miles away. Breakfast was the best and our packed lunch was perfect.... More

This was a wonderful Bed and Breakfast situated right along the path of Hadrian's Wall. The rooms are wonderful and David and Christine couldn't be more welcoming. I arrived around dinner time and they recommended the pub at the end of the road, The Milecastle Inn. The sun was just setting and the views were absolutely stunning, I will remember... More

This is a fantastic b & b on the hadrians wall trail near cawfields quarry. Its is very clean, the rooms are so comfortable and nice and quiet. The owners are brilliant and breakfast set you up well for the day. You can order a nice packed lunch for only £5.00.

Just returned from cycling Hadrian's wall and this was one of the best B&B's we stayed in along the way. Genuine warm welcome from David & Christine, spotless room, home made cake waiting for us with fresh milk for a cup of tea and a comfy bed for the night. David kindly booked us a table at the nearby pub... More
