We stayed here for one night and had an evening meal. The rooms are categorised into Standard, Executive and Luxury. We had room 12 which was classed as an Executive Room. I am unsure what made the room 'Executive' as it seemed no more than a standard room. It was very comfortable but small. The description of the room was...

My other half booked this as a surprise birthday night away for me. We arrived and the place looked lovely. The check in at reception was quick and although we were early we were allowed to go to our room. The room was down water appears to be a maze of a corridor and it was so quirky and quaint,...

Absolutely beautiful building tastefully and sympathetically decorated. All the staff were professional courteous and helpful. We stayed in a luxury room situated at the front of the hotel which has the most luxurious bathroom and an incredibly comfortable bed. The food is superb, we ate in the restaurant on both nights and cannot fault any of the dishes we had....

On a cold wintery day, you cannot beat the fire and atmosphere. Food warming, staff friendly and accomodating. Try the 'Delux cheese n ham toastie'. You can taste the Truffle. You might want to add some fries because it is not large

A wonderful bolthole in the heart of Sullok. Very comfortable rooms, excellent food, cosy bar with open fires and such a welcome from Management and Staff. They could not do to enough to ensure I had a wonderful stay.

Good stuff: Very pleasant clean room. Lovely dinner, tender steak, relaxing atmosphere in the bar. Good hearty breakfast. Bad stuff: 1. While at dinner, please can the waitress buy some shoes softer on the ear! When serving diners, waitress has to walk along uncarpeted floor boards, clipclopclipclopclipclopclipclopclipclopclipclop - very distracting! 2. Arancini maincourse would make a lovely starter or a...

My wife and I visited the Bildeston Crown on the recommendation of a friend. A very good recommendation it was. The room we had was large and reasonably well equipped with an excellent shower and bath. Bed was 6ft and very comfortable. Dinner was very good and what I was expecting. We enjoyed all three course. I especially enjoyed the...

On arrival we went to the bar for pre-dinner drinks. The main bar was crowded as this is a popular hotel. We went to the second bar area and had difficulty in getting to the bar due not to people waiting to be served but by the 'resident' locals fully entrenched at the bar complete with welly boots and dogs!...

I stayed at this hotel this week and I was very pleasantly surprised! From out of nowhere this hotel appeared out of the fog like an oasis in the middle of nowhere. The rooms were very comfortable and clean, bordering on the luxurious. The bar was warm and comfortable, the beer was great service was warm and friendly and the...
