We stayed at the Mon Port for 10 nights in Sept. We could not have been happier. The hotel was immaculate and the staff were very friendly and attentive. The rooms were clean, beds were comfy and food at the breakfast was excellent with a wide range of food. We ate at the hotel restaurant for dinner once and it was really nice with a lovely wine recommendation from the waiter. The staff work so hard and long hours but they never let standards slip. The pool area is kept very clean and there are always sunbeds available. Tomas, the pool boy, was brilliant and brought drinks to us when we ordered. The walk to the Port was only about 15-20 mins
I loved my time at the Mon port. The rooms are spacious and modern. The pool area is fabulous and clean.the pool bar is with lovely staff as was Davido the lifeguard who gives you towels and bed mats however you must ask for them. My only criticism is that I would have liked a little soft jazz round the pool in the day and some music in the evening if you were staying in. We went to the port which is about a 10 min walk every night to eat. Lots of fine restaurants, cocktail bars and boutiques. A great place to people watch. We loved it
Lovely situated resort, with very good facilities and clean luxurious rooms. Staff friendly and helpfull.Svimming pool tennis court -etc all very fine for grown grown ups and children. Good quality breakfast. Lunch and dinner not the best quality and can not be recommended. We had 1/2 board
We stayed in a lovely suite with a small garden and double terrace. Massive bath and separate bathroom with a walk in shower, all very clean. Buffet breakfast was superb but evening meals were lacking, same menu the whole time we were there!
Great check in with friendly staff who allocated us a room on the ground floor with a small private garden area right next to the pool. Lovely grounds with a nice pool split into 3 levels. The bottom aimed at kids, families in the middle level and adults in the top section. In practice anyone was free to use both of the upper level pools. Breakfast was good with a relaxed atmosphere as was lunch in the pool bar area with friendly and attentive staff. The rooms were clean and modernish and housekeeping were very efficient. The only real gripe would be the reserving of sun beds the day before! Although there was always spare beds available the upper section would be reserved by 9pm the day before? Not sure if this is the usual practice but a bit annoying. Didn’t spoil the holiday though so not a deal breaker but think this should have been more regulated.…
We had a fantastic experience at Mon Port. It was our first time staying at Mon Port but not our first time in Andratx so we knew the area well already. The staff were very friendly and the rooms were spacious. We had three rooms as we travelled with my in-laws and our 2 year old. We opted for an interconnecting room between us and our two year old which worked perfectly. The hotel was accommodating in our request to have all three rooms in a row so we could sit out on eachothers balconies of an evening when our toddler went to bed. We booked bed and breakfast and the buffet breakfast was really great quality with lots of choice. We weren't sure what the rest of the food would be like as we had struggled to find much information on the website or see many reviews but actually it was really very good. The pool bar was great and had a big menu of things like chicken wings, ceaser salad, pizzas etc etc and were all much better quality than I would of expected around the pool. Good options for wine and we always had a couple of bottles of chilled Rosè on the go. We had dinner in the restaurant one night and the food was lovely. Quite fussy which we like but be aware its not your usual hotel meal. We found the starters to be quite expensive with a lot of them in line with the main meal price but it didn't bother us. There is a lovely little shop next to the reception that sells women's clothes and jewelry and they were all reasonably priced and unique too. The pool was great and we spent most of the time at the bottom pool which had built in steps so was safer for our toddler who was in her armbands jumping off the side. We had no issue with finding sunbeds and never once felt the need to put towels out before we got there (not that we would bother anyway!). There is also a really shallow little round pool for very young children which would be a nice touch if you were with a baby. Lots of highchairs available and the hotel provided a good quality travel cot with a nice thick mattress so I didn't have to bring my travel one with me. There is a little play park but it was always too hot for our toddler to go there. You can walk in to the centre of Andratx in 15 minutes and was easy with a buggy. 5 minutes down the road is a small shop for basics and next to it is the best rated restaurant in Andratx, an Italian called Verico. Highly recommend that too. Great food lovely staff and awesome wine list. Best tiramisu I've ever had as well. Air con in the room was really good and very quiet which I think is important. Balcony has a drying rack for wet swimwear and towels. Bathrooms had been updated, no baths in any of ours which was fine but worth noting with little ones. Not sure if there are rooms with baths or not. Easy and free to park your rental car in the hotel car park. Overall brilliant stay we will most definitely be back and it was hard to fault. We often remarked on our surprise it wasn't listed with a 5 star rating but that may just be down to facilities like only having the one main restaurant etc. Thank you Mon Port! …
The complex at Mon Port is Beautifully layed out, 2, large swimming pools, The Rooms are comfotrtable, Breakfast Buffet, is, superb, The Staff are all very friendly and Helpful, i would love to go back and stay, here again.. I can only recommend it in all positive Sin 👍👍👍👍
Fantastic service as ever. Really friendly and helpful staff. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We are regular visitors and certainly will be in n the future. Only feedback I would give is that the pool bar could do with staying open a little longer.
We had a great stay for a family vacation in August. Food was great, staff were all helpful and friendly. Gréât spa and laid back approach. Some lovely local restaurants and beach clubs and port on your doorstep. Something for all ages as long as your not expecting lots of entertainment. Lots of friendly families and we have decided to rebook next year. Very happy we have found this little gem.
Excellent in every way. Went with my daughter and both of us had the most fantastic stay. Breakfast was superb, Cava included! Service was great, especially around the pool. Quiet location and an easy walk to the port. Can’t wait to return.
