Great staff, couldn’t be more helpful. Spa facilities very good, just a few tweaks would make them even better (minor cosmetics). Excellent location to access restaurants and a swimming beach. Hotel food top quality. Easy and cheap bus transfer from Palma and local buses so good, no need for a hire car. Great walking up towards Sant Elm and beyond.

We booked a last minute week away and dealt directly with the hotel and they communicated well on email.
The hotel feels small and intimate and is extremely well maintained in beautiful surroundings. Our room was upgraded to a superior double as we were celebrating our engagement which was lovely of them - really nice with a balcony looking out on the gorgeous pool and gardens. Cleaned every day, fresh towels if needed.
We spent most of time by the adults only pool, which is also next to the bar. A gorgeous infinity pool, just the right temperature and so clean.
The staff are all very friendly and helpful. The service throughout our stay was excellent which makes such a difference. In particular, Xisco, Steven & Kevin were so helpful and always chatted to us at breakfast or just around. Shared lots of information about the town and other parts of the island with us so we enjoyed lots of great meals out in the town at night time. The hotel’s own restaurant was very good too. Nicely presented and fresh, whether it was a pool snack or evening meal- both great. The whole place was pristine too, so much cleaning & sanitising going on so felt very safe.
Overall, we loved this place and definitely plan on going back. You will not be disappointed by this gem of a place. Miss it already!

I stayed at Mon Port for 10 days with my family and had the best time. All staff were super friendly including Xcisco, Victor and Kevin at breakfast and Alien and Alberto by the pool. Alien made our stay particularly enjoyable with his contagious smile and happiness. He kept the pool area clean and safe, attending to any issues (mainly flying parasols and delivering beverages from the bar for guests) and even kept us all entertained whether that be ‘find the coin’ in the pool or helping me learn some Spanish! Truly made friends. The hotel itself is beautiful and well maintained with reception staff always happy to help. Considering the uncertain times we’re all facing globally right now, Mon Port have done an excellent job of keeping the hotel covid-secure with 2m social distance reminders, plenty of hand sanitizer around and all staff wearing masks- even in 30+ degree heat!! Beds were comfy and rooms were clean. Not far for a walk into Port Andraxt for a variety of amazing restaurants, there are also easy bus routes or taxis to go to local beaches/towns (Pageura, Camp de Mar, Magaluf and Sant Elm). The location is perfect and i couldn’t recommend staying here more!

We have been to Mon Port on many holidays over the years and were extremely excited when travel restrictions were lifted just in time for our holiday on 15th July. We travelled with our daughters for what was to be a a family celebration for my husbands 65th birthday.
Once again Mon Mort delivered on every front, despite these uncertain times they have taken every possible action to reduce the risk to their guests. The staff all wear masks and as guests you just have to wear when in reception or when going into the main restaurant for breakfast/dinner. There are are hand sanitiser stands at various places around the hotel as well.
Victor, David, Xcisco, Kevin and Maria looked after us so well at breakfast and lunch ensuring we wanted for nothing.
Last but not least, a special mention for Alien, our holiday would not be the same without him, he looks after us so well, nothing is too much trouble he always makes sure we have clean towels, that we are happy with the position of our sun beds, he spends time chatting with us all, even helping to teach my daughter Spanish.

Unfortunately my step-daughter , son-in law and 2 granddaughters were unable to travel as they were still shielding at home so we will be booking again next year.

This was our 4th time at Mon Port and am pleased to say its just as good as ever. We were delighted by the refurbished rooms and bathrooms which provides a more contempory feel to the accomodation and the service and helpfulness of all the staff was as good as ever. Everything was open in the Town and masks were only required at the hotel when entering the restaurant and once sat down they can be removed for eating/drinking . Ditto in the town at restaurants . Overall a very welcome break which has motivated us for further travel .

Such a warm and friendly welcome, the staff at Mon Port made our stay they were truly lovely and couldn’t have been more helpful. The hotel has been newly refurbished and was just great including the rooms. They took the Covid 19 social distancing seriously and the communal areas were regularly disinfected. We were a little reticent to travel in these strange times but couldn’t be more glad that we did. We will be back, Paul & Mel.

The Mon Port is a hotel we have visited on many occasions and given the current health environment we were a little apprehensive on what we would find when we arrived. Our worries were quickly allayed as the hotel has adapted to meet the needs of Covid and the standards that they adopt have not altered. The hotel is spotless, rooms are fresh and modern with the staff constantly engaging in cleaning and sanitising all public areas. The hotel is 20 years old this year and they have refreshed a number of areas to keep the hotel current and up to date without losing the original familiar charm. The staff are engaging, helpful and approachable, always on hand to assist if required. The Mon Port Hotel has always been a favourite of ours and it is a place we will return to in the future.

Everything in the hotel is perfect, calm, cleanliness, location, and customer service.

What I did not like is that the hotel’s instructions and laws are not placed in the rooms for customers to see before they are surprised. The customer is supposed to see the hotel’s instructions and rules from his room to prevent embarrassment, such as dates for breakfast and dinner, opening and closing times for swimming pools, as well as the ages allowed to use the spa, jacuzzi and sauna, as well as the prices for washing and ironing clothes, as there is no hotel menu and food prices i the rooms , All this information should be available in the rooms so that the customer does not have to ask them

I did not like the closing swimming pools at six o'clock, as we are in the summer and it was better to leave them open until half past nine o'clock after sunset.

Ten-year-olds are entitled to enjoy a spa with their parents.

I also have a simple note on some restaurant services. We are used to in hotels that when the customer wants to change his table, the waiter is the one who moves the food, dishes and things on the table to another table, while in your hotel the waiter leaves the customer who does that and this is not professional

Other than that, I liked the hotel. It is really cool and I recommend it to all my friends and we will definitely come back, God willing.

Dear Guest, thank you very much for take your time to leave a nice review about Mon Port Hotel&Spa we take note about your experience with us and we will try to improve all our services in order to welcome you as soon as possible with all the points mentioned fixed. Due to Covid situation we had to impleent a lot of new measures in a short time then probably some of them are not 100% functional, for example de lack of food&drink information on the Room. About waiter issues, we are really impressed with this point and that's is not acceptable as you say. Our waiters are so friendly and fantastics professionals then we will discuss this with them in order to learn and improve about it. In advance, we apologies you for the invonvenience we shall, of course, be delighted to give any additional explanations that you may require Have a nice day stay safe Mon Port Hotel&Spa - Customer Service

What was originally a ‘standard double’ has been re-designated a ‘junior suite’ and not for the better. Wardrobe and drawer facilities inadequate and now only one bedside cabinet. Lighting should be improved and arm chairs uncomfortable. Baths have been replaced with showers which is an improvement, however there is no ‘grab rail’ and no caddy for toiletries so soap, shampoo etc. resides on shower tray which makes life difficult for infirm and elderly guests. On arrival room had one glass in bathroom and one bathrobe, one cup (no saucer) Second mis- matched cup provided but still no saucer. Toiletries only replaced on request. No smoking on terraces etc. Totally ignored to such an extent that ash trays were provided by staff on request. We hope to return in 2022 and are able to report a return to former standards.

My partner and I were due to attend a wedding in September, travelling from Sydney, Australia and booked a room in advance pre Covid. Obviously Covid then happened and we watched the situation closely until the inevitable happened and the wedding was cancelled due to an international travel ban from Australia.

We emailed the hotel in July to see if we could cancel our reservation which was for September as it was completely impossible for us to now use, the hotel ignored the email. We then sent a follow up email and were told in no uncertain terms, we are open and your room is none refundable. We explained that due to Covid we have no way of being able to make the trip but the reservations team didn’t care, they even sent an email saying we hope to see you in September knowing full well we couldn’t get there even if we wanted.

We then sent a follow up email asking to speak to someone more senior in the hopes a reasonable solution could be found, a room credit or partial refund, email was again ignored. Sent a follow up email and was again told, no chance of a refund, tough luck as they are open and no senior persons details from the hotel was provided.

Every other business I have dealt with linked to this trip in September, airlines, the other hotels I have booked in Spain for my trip have all been understanding and offered alternatives due to Covid whereas Mon Port Hotel & Spa seem to only care about taking customers money, knowing we can’t use the room which they will then be able to book out to someone else.

Shockingly bad service, I wish I had booked somewhere else for this stay as I am sure I would have been provided with a fair compromise over their total disregard for the situation. Go elsewhere if you want to feel valued and looked after in this uncertain time.
