We booked our stay via Henrik at Rural Hotels Mallorca following recommendation from a family member about how wonderful Son Cappellot was.

We travelled with our 2 year old son and it was perfect. Antonia and her husband are so welcoming and the accommodation is beautiful. Very rustic and traditional Mallorca feel. The swimming pool was lovely and our son loved it ! The breakfast was wonderful and the hosts were very helpful and accommodating.

We will be back. Thank you 😀

Son Capellot is a beautiful place . With only a small number of apartments there is a large pool and plenty of space to relax. The Mediterranean breakfasts are amazing and the apartments well equipped. We first came here with toddlers 11 years ago and this time brought our back as teenagers. It was an ideal location both then and now. A car is needed but it’s easy to get around with a supermarket 1.5km away. Aside from the lovely surroundings Antonia and Miquel are fantastic hosts and could not be more accommodating. Hope to return again before too long.

just returned home following the most wonderful week at son capellot. the previous reviews were not wrong. my husband and i have spent the past few years travelling around the world to find paradise, we did not realise it was only 2 hours away. the accomodation was basic but to a very good standard everything that we needed. the breakfast was continental with lovely breads cheeses fruits and meats, and always with a smile. breakfast was served on the terrace each day. we stayed in the upstairs appartment with a terrace downstairs, other apartment are downstairs. infact we have booked for next year, which we never do. the swimming pool was lovely better than usual plunge pools. we got there at 21.00hrs. we had a little trouble finding the place but when we did antonio and miguel were there to help with our bags and we were given cold beer.there were other couples there with children, my first thought was oh no, but the type of people that go there do not have out of control children that can be found at palma airport, they were a pleasure. on a night we got a bottle of wine and sat outside the farmhouse and listened to the sheep and the night noises, it was total bliss. we can not remember ever feeling sad to be leaving a place but this time we did. there was a supermarket at the bottom of the unmade tract which was a lovely walk. good taxi service to the village and restaurants, son terossa recomended. go to the village of felanix and have a beer with the locals, we loved that, we were made very welcome. beautiful places to go, a car is essential.a big thank you to antonia and miguel for making our holiday one to remember, see you next year x

Antonia Androver and her husband Miguel have put their heart and soul into this project and lovingly restored their home into a fantastic place to stay in Majorca.

Close to the town of Felanix and a perfect base for visiting some great towns and beaches. The property is located in Son Negre in acres of farmland. Ideal for people who want to combine self catering with eating out as the accommodation provides good kitchen facilities (plus a barbecue) and there are a host of good restaurants nearby. The rates are excellent value and include breakfast in the main house which is a perfect start to each day and a great opportunity to get ideas on places to visit.... We found Antonia's recommendations spot on !

The apartments are spacious and light with some nice finishing touches and service is attentive and consistent - daily towel service, bins etc and alternate days for cleaning. We stayed in Apt 4 with our young son. Although its the smalllest property it was great and bigger than most hotel rooms weve stayed in. It has a lovely patio/garden and is adjacent to the large swimming pool.

Some tips
- Car hire absolutely essential
- Talk to Antonio about the different apartments - They are all lovely, quite different and will suit a range of tastes/needs
- Our favourite places ... all within 20 minutes drive
Villages of Cas Concas, Alquiera Blanca - Try the tapas restaurant tapas y mas
The beach at cala s'nau
Seafood restaurants at Porto Colon
The town of Santanyi

Above all .....the welcome and service from the Androver family makes this quite an exceptional place to stay .... looking forward to our next trip

A girlfriend and I spent the most relaxing, wonderful week at Son Capellot at the beginning of July. We were slightly put off by the approach to it from the town of Felanitx, but Antonia and Miguel have created a beautiful haven out of their old family home. Our apartment was very spacious and immaculately clean, with its own terrace in the garden downstairs. The other apartments also looked beautiful; very private and spacious. The building and its gardens are gorgeous but the pool was the highlight - it's bigger than the average private pool so a decent length for 'proper' swimming, and its location is idyllic, surrounded as it is by the lush gardens and the family's small herd of sheep (behind a fence!).

We enjoyed a simple but tasty breakfast in the main house every morning with plenty of fresh fruit from the gardens, and were always greeted with a big smile and many helpful recommendations by the owners. Son Capellot is well placed for exploring the local area and since Mallorca isn't that big, we made it to the far side of the island for a day trip without too much bother.

This was a perfect holiday: relaxing, immaculate and well priced accomodation with great weather to boot. I will definitely think about going back and have already recommendd it to friends.

5 days of relaxation - lovely welcome from Antonia with a cold beer then recommendations galore for food, beaches and sightseeing. Breakfast provided was simple but tasty with delicious freshly squeezed orange juice.
Exceptionally clean spacious rooms, very peaceful (except for the peacocks but they only add to the ambience).
Majorca was much nicer than expected : lovely sheltered coves with golden sand and turquoise water.

My husband & I stayed in the double room which which was airy and had its own large terrace. There were windows on both sides which allowed a lovely breeze to blow through and meant we didn't have to have the air conditioning all the time, even though it got up to 32 degrees outside - the AC "sleep" mode is very quiet and meant we slept very well every night. We had a fridge and kettle and so we could have have lunch on the terrace whenever we wanted - Lidl is only 1km away. The pool is lovely and quiet. Antonia & Miquel are very welcoming and the place is spotless and they work hard to keep the gardens looking green and colourful. Breakfast was provided in a lovely shady patio area and was always tasty and varied. We loved it there and would highly recommend it to family and friends.

Antonia and her husband were excellent hosts. This is off the beaten path and is a great place to base yourself for exploring Mallorca. A car is a must. The apartment was spotless and had everything we needed. Antonia provided us with an umbrella for the beach and gave great recommendations for beaches, restaurants, and attractions. Easy drive from Palma. Highly recommended if you like to explore and stay in places with charm and not over the top amenities. A great getaway. Would love to repeat!

Even though we arrived four days late in the middle of the night we were given a warm welcome by Miguel and shown to our beautiful apartment. In the morning we couldn't believe how beautiful Son Capellot is. The apartments are tastefully decorated and feel very spacious. They are well equipped and very private. The pool is wonderful and surrounded by incredible gardens.

Antonia and Miguel are wonderful hosts and we enjoyed delicious breakfasts in the main farmhouse each morning. We were very grateful for all their recommendations.

During our holiday we travelled around Mallorca - we saw the pretty villages of Deia and Fornalutx, the smart ports, the great (but sometimes overcrowded) beaches and some fabulous market towns but we were always pleased to return each day to the peace, quiet and luxury of Son Capellot.

I hope to visit Son Capellot again very soon.
