Ca’n Bonico is a great place. The outdoor premises are amazing and so is the staff. However, be very careful about the type of room you select. If you select a “standard double room”, call to make sure they do not put you in the “older part” of the hotel, and avoid at all cost room 201 (unless you want a practically windowless and outdated room - very different than what shown on pictures). I was initially assigned room 201. After a first night and a lot of talking with the staff, I was changed to room 202 which was way better in terms of natural light. I must say it remains an older room, definitely not updated as what is showcased on the pictures. It does have some charm, but let’s face it, paint is peeling off the walls. From what I’ve seen, the best advice I could give to avoid those rooms would be to select a room with terrace. They really look great. You probably have to book way in advance though. I booked three months prior to my stay and no terrace room was available then.
Finally, I have to put in good words for the staff. They really were all super kind. The lady at the reception whom helped me with the room 201 issue was very understanding and kind. I also have to acknowledge the waiter at the restaurant who was very nice and gave a lot of great advice for visiting the area (can’t remember his name - he wears turquoise glasses).

A wonderful property in the middle of adorable Ses Salines. If you're looking for a restful locale in the middle of chaotic summer in Mallorca, this is the spot. We traveled as a family of four and stayed in one of the terrace rooms that could accomodate us. I was slightly annoyed at the 50E per night up charge for adding one cot, but it was still a good value. Room was clean and efficient. Property was very well kept and swimming in the pool while listening to church bells could not be beat. We didn't eat at the buffet (18Epp) but instead opted for the bakery directly across the street.

This hotel is absolutely perfect if you are looking for a peaceful and relaxing break with excellent restaurants and amenities nearby.
The grounds and hotel are beautiful with a big pool and car parking. There is also a bus stop down the road for Palma and Santayni. The rooms are light and airy with a contemporary twist on a finca interior.
The choice for breakfast was superb with a great selection of meat, cheeses, bread, fruits, yoghurts and pastries. There were also plenty of alternatives if you have a dietary requirement.
The only bad experience we had was towards the end of our holiday there were not enough sunbeds for several of us, forcing us to sit on towels on the grass or patio area in the afternoons.
The sunbeds taken were not being used and being hogged by the same couples or ladies either in their rooms or sat in the shade away from the pool. It was a bit of a downer on the end of a beautiful stay.

Simply fabulous. In the center of Ses Salines this hotel is simply fantastic. Our room was in the garden, very quiet and silent. It is seems like an adult only hotel, as I guess family with children will not elect hotel like this. Breakfast is excellent with fresh orange juice at the table, with kitchen open to prepare eggs in the way you like to have, an handmade excellent cookies. The hotel is nearby the best beaches in Mallorca even if it is not in the sea. The garage is just outside the hotel and free. Finally, we regret to book only 2 nights. we could not prolonged one night additional as it was full! Highly recommend ! Staff very helpful and kind

This idyllic hotel is nestled in the gorgeous town of Ses Salines. A property that has many of its original features but with new and contemporary elements that blend in beautifully. The feeling of the property exudes calm with amazing staff to attend to your every need. Our room was in the old building, very spacious with a vaulted ceiling. There was a dressing room area before entering the bedroom and the en-suite was off the main bedroom space, some of the doors are very old which we loved. The hotel is made up of cool sitting spaces and various courtyards and Outside is a beautiful pool surrounded by gardens, olives and lemon trees. There is a covered chill out space by the pool with hanging chairs and sofas should you need respite from the sun. The gardens are edged with further rooms. The hotel is surrounded by a few restaurants serving the freshest fish and Mallorca’s wine. We will revisit for sure.

We booked this hotel as the most luxurious, relaxing hotel in the beautifully calm village of Ses Salenes. It met our expectations. Even the bedroom’s air conditioning was whisper quiet. Breakfast was extensive and delicious. Service at breakfast and at the poolside was faultless. It is a small hotel that focuses on guest comfort. The hotel does not serve dinner but that is probably because there is a wealth of very good restaurants within 1 or 2 minutes walk. The only very minor issue I had was checking in when arriving by car. You need to visit reception first to receive a pass for the car park. This could be made clearer in the welcome information email and the website.

A lovely hotel. We stayed here for 2 nights as part of a cycling trip around the island. Our room was lovely and modern, with a lovely balcony overlooking the pool area. The staff in the hotel were all friendly & helpful. Unfortunately a mix up, with our courier firm, resulted in failure of our luggage being taken to the next hotel, (we were stuck 30miles in only our cycling clothes) although not the fault of the Can Bonico, they were really helpful in assisting to get the luggage to us at our next destination. The pool/gardens are spacious with plenty of beds, chairs and places to sit & enjoy some relaxation. There was also a place to securely store our cycles. The pool bar is open daily for drinks and snacks until 8pm. There isn’t a restaurant in the hotel (except for serving breakfast) however there are various restaurants within walking distance.

Hotel was above expectations. We stayed in a beautiful room (203) with high ceilings and very nicely decorated, the room was very clean. The welcome was very friendly, all the staff were great. There is a free spacious parking lot. The pool and facilities were great. The location is central in Ses Salines. Next to the hotel there are several very good restaurants and a nice bar where you can enjoy a drink. Ses Salines is a good base for visiting Mallorca's most beautiful bays and beaches, often between 15 and 30 minutes away by car. We had a great stay in Ca'n Bonico, we strongly recommend this hotel.

The buildings and the garden are very beautiful and relaxing. Worthwhile! The welcome by the receptionist however was disappointing. He was obviously not in the mood to welcome new guests and explain functionalities of the house. However, the pool bar staff were helpful and friendly. The hotel room was spacious, but only equipped with the most basic furnishings (no toilet brush, old crumbled coffee and tea bags, lamp shade damaged, etc.). There is no beverage service after 19:00. Unfortunately, there is an obvious lack of eye for details. A pity!
