We stayed and dined here several times. This time being August, it was difficult to get a room and what we got seemed a bit more modest than their usual rooms, some sort of auxiliary one near the kitchen , but everything was clear upfront. There were parties both nights, but we could sleep well on the first night and decent on the second. I did have some back pains, most likely from the mattress, and the room was not as clean as it should be. The breakfast is rich and all good. The restaurant was closed, but they allowed guests, which is very positive. The food was ok for quality and size, relatively cheap for most dishes. The place is very organized and brings value to local tourism as they have a lot of info and they also offer river rafting experiences.

Decent restaurant with average food - nothing extraordinary but also not bad. One minus for the sleepy and repetitive music which couldn't be changed due the fact that is representative for the place...

Valea Lupului Pension is a great place to stay in the village with the same name. Various amazing places are nearby, like Muddy Volcanoes, Siriu Lake, the Living Fire, Rătești Monastery and some nice small ethnographic museums. The Restaurant is also good!

We stayed here for one night for rafting trip. Great hotel, clean, nice staff. No Wifi, but TV with English TV Channels. Staff didn't spoke any English, but I didn't really expected it. Had a lot of fun with a translation app. Gorgeous views from balcony. lovely walks around. Mud volcanoes only an hour drive.

The food was great and the service was fast despite the fact that they had an event and only 1 waiter was available. Very good pancakes. Smoked pork neck great. Good prices also. Photos attached also. Recommend.

We know Valea Lupului Pension, as we have come here for 2 times to have lunch and it was great! So we decided to also book a room for 2 nights. Very good choice! The room we got was facing Buzau River and the mountains, so we could watch the sun rising every morning. Rooms are spacious, very well insulated and well equipped, with lots of little details that make ones stay quite pleasant. Breakfast is basic, but tasty and diverse. Staff is well trained, friendly and helpful. Even after a long day full of tourists and private events, they were happy to serve us late at night. Quite a good impression! We also tried the sauna, best sauna experience for both of us! 80 degrees Celsius dry sauna, with shower, relaxing area and cloakroom really close. Nothing unpleasant to add about the pension. It's a pity the restaurant has limited capacity, as on Sunday noon we had to search for another restaurant to have lunch.

The B&B is sparkling clean, with fully furnished rooms, bathrooms with all amenities (hairdryer, towels), a nice balcony with beautiful views. Breakfast was continental, I appreciated the fresh butter and plum jam. The restaurant closes at 10:30 PM, but guests are allowed to stay over closing time and bring their own drinks. I had a lovely time and would definitely go back.

We had lunch here twice. Both times, the food was very tasty, simple, properly done and we enjoyed it a lot. The staff was friendly and attentive, even if one time it was so crowded on a Sunday afternoon. The food is very cheap compared to the quality and size of portion. The place has a lovely terrace , which can get a bit too sunny if you don;t have the right table, but it's a pleasant experience to have a meal here. We would also try the accommodation, we noticed they have also a sauna.
