We arrived in Poiana Brasov as part of a 5 day Transylvania and Bucharest tour passing lots of beautiful hotels and then we arrived here. The reception area was not welcoming, the stair carpet on the way to our room had holes in it, the windows were filthy and the first impression of our room was at best basic. My husband had to visit reception multiple times to get extra hangers, AC remote control, milk for coffee, locked safe etc. Our tour was supposed to include an evening meal, but the kitchen had closed by the time we arrived and we were given a takeaway container each with tepid chicken, rice and veg which in our opinion was not safe to eat, so that went back to reception as well. Closer inspection of the room showed the way the ceiling fan was hanging looked unsafe, the bathroom cleanliness left a lot to be desired, and there was a stain on the wooden floor which looked like dried blood. My husband spent the next hour writing an email to the tour company. At breakfast we managed to find a few items to eat from the buffet. There is not a separate bar area, just one end of the restaurant and that closes at 10pm. We were so disappointed in this hotel and would not recommend it to anyone on any budget.

We stayed here for 3 nights as part of an organized tour. The hotel looked out to the mountains at the front and to the forest at the rear. The breakfast was continental style, and had a good selection. The room was nice, mine looked out onto the mountains. Usual toiletries, tea making facilities, TV etc, but no milk was supplied, so you had to ask. Seems to be the norm in Romania. Downstairs, there was a spa and swimming pool which was an added bonus. The bar closed really early about 9-30 which seemed very early to me, but apart from that it was a decent little hotel in a great location, only a short walk from the chair lift to the top of the mountain, and a short stroll to a few restaurants and bars in the town.

A very nice hotel. Arrived at the hotel and was checked in by the wonderful Andrea. I checked into an apartment which was very spacious and nice. My children got ready and went straight to the pool. They loved it and had fun. The pool was nice and warm. The breakfast was very good too. All the staff were very helpful. A small issue which was dealt immediately. Thank you for making it a very nice stay. Overall me and my children had a wonderful stay.

The room was very dirty, like no one ever cleaned it. On the floor was a lot of hair and dust. I told them nice, to sent someone to clean it, but after 3 hours, the room was in the same condition. And the “spa” is disgusting! The water in the pool and jacuzzi is not clean.

Stayed for 4 night with family. Nice room, clean, decent size. Location is great, near the main attractions in Poiana and close to restaurants. Staff very helpful and nice. Breakfast very good, lots to chose from. Food at the restaurant very good with decent prices. One suggestions : The hotel needs a outside sitting area or terrace for the summer days.

First thing there is no parking, in front of hotel there is open parking that is full every time. The room was very dirty, dust is present on every element in the room. The photo's that is presented are far from reality. In the room there was no internet, asked to resolve the problem but till the end nobody fixed, the thig was that on that floor wi-fi repeater was removed. Smell of the cigarrete was present in every corner.

Enought space in the room and very clean, and the fridge is working. Also, in the hotel you will find a lot of quite. The bathroom is to small, a fat person can't use the toilet. Breakfast delicious, staff very friendly. The pool is a little bit to small, but very clean.

We had book this hotel for nice and quite position. We really need those days for relaxing!Plan was for4 - 5 nights to stay in, but next day we just RUN AWAY! On the time when we arrive on the desk, surprise: no breakfast for the next morning! For the next days, no meet included on breakfast ( we accepted this, info received on the booking time). Room booked for 2 pers, but prepared for 4 pers! Sofa founded open and ready for another 2 pers! When asked, answer received: we prepare all the time those apartments to be ready for 4 pers! WooW! That mean, I'll have some guest? All curtains from windows, in very bad position, like no body take care! Light in bathroom very week! Need some improvement in regard of room and bathroom cleaning. TV's: one from bedroom in good condition, second one from day room not working. When asked, answer was: we have problem with TV cable provider! (where is customer fault?) There is more to say, but I'll stop here. All in all, in my opinion, stars number is not for real! Need more improvment from hotel stuff.

Dear Guest, We thank you very much for the time allocated writting this comment! We checked with the collegue that made the reservation and I was told, that you have been informed, from the moment you made the reservation, about the fact that there is no breakfast served on Saturdays and also about the fact that our breakfasts do not include meat products - for the rest of the days. You were given a special price from the begining, even though you had a dog with you. The sofa was opened in the living, in our customers best interests, maybe they want to stay relaxed, and watch a different TV programme, than the person that stays in the bedroom. Our rooms and apartaments are being checked before each arrival, if something would have been wrong before you checking in, my collegues would have fixed any issues. If there would have been wrong in your room, you would have had to tell us and we, would have fixed it. We've checked with the reception and nothing was told about the weak light in the bathroom, about the cleaning in the bathroom, the TV, the curtains, or anything else. We would also like to add that our hotel staff is highly quallified for this business, if you would like to be more detailed, we will be at your disposal, with great pleasure. Best Regards, Rizzo Hotel
