Detailed Reviews
This most wonderful couple of nights! This place is a little gem with lovely and welcoming people and lots of great food and wine (of course!) thank you to all who helped us organise taxis, dinner, cooked and served our dinner and also told us all about the wine and kept us laughing. Wonderful stay in a beautiful place!

A lovely friendly hotel in the heart of a vineyard. The hosts were friendly and so helpful which meant we were able to relax and enjoy the surrounding area. In the countryside but close enough to Porto to be able to jump on a train and get a day in the City.

From Joana's friendliness and welcome to the calm and beauty of the surrounding area... the Quinta is wonderful! The kids loved the contact with nature, the pool, the ping pong table, the wild rabbits that we were lucky enough to observe... the breakfast is good and the wine made on the farm is second to none! We are very grateful to have found this soulful corner to burn off the last cartridges of our vacation!

This review is long overdue! I actually visited in April of 2018 with my friend Jenna. Our wine tour guide set us up for a lunch date and winery tour with the wine maker. She was extremely warm, welcoming and made our short stay at the Quinta a very memorable experience. The grounds are beautiful and quaint and I would love to visit again and again stay in one of their adorable private rooms! The wine tasting was fantastic and I highly recommend visiting this area and Quinta if you are near Porto or the Douro Valley. Thank you for your hospitality!

We stayed here for only two nights but upon arrival regretted not booking for more nights. This is the ideal getaway when you like beautiful scenery, wine and complete and friendly service. It's a beautiful wine estate and has clean and spacious rooms for a decent price. Swimming in the pool in august is magical with a great view of the surroundings. Most importantly: the service is outstanding. Joana and her crew go above and beyond to make you relax to the fullest.

Joana has been an amazing host :) she is super kind and nice, we definitely suggest to come and enjoy a quite and nice staying in her family Quinta (vineyard property). Breakfast is served daily with fresh local products, the tradition includes having every day of the week a different kind of bread. Highly recommended also the wine tasting tour of the property, their Vinho Verde is dope

It is the first time I have visited a vine yard. We and our family had an exceptional time at Joana's place.
She took great care in explaining details of the wine making process from the growing of grapes to machinery for grape processing to bottling.
We also tasted different wines and cheeses and breads. Joana had suggested sandwiches too but we are vegetarian and hence she offered vegetarian options.
I would strongly recommend this wine tasting tour if you are in vicinity of Porto.
